Remarks :
To enter this college, you should be able to score more than 80 percentile in the JEE(Mains) exam. After clearing the exam you have to apply for counselling in the MPDTE for admission process, the whole process is based on merit. Students who do not have the domicile for Madhya Pradesh have to score more than those who have as they are given the allocated in All India qouta
Course Curriculum Overview :
Established in 1947,it is one of the oldest institutions of MP, which has a huge reputation and legacy which it has built over the years. The alumni of this college can be found in almost every MNCs and even in PSUs which makes it very highly desirable. The course for BE is in accordance with the AICTE and is updated regularly.
Internships Opportunities :
Western Central Railway, TRD Gun Carriage Factory Western Central Railway, Coaching Depot Students are allowed to opt for internships at companies in their 8th sem and can spend their sem instead of attending college and submitting a report on the internship rather than a projects
Placement Experience :
Students are allowed to do internships at different govt and private institutions at the end of each academic year. After COVID 19 the placement numbers have dipped by a certain amount but students from CS, IT, EC and EE recieve placements offers with a good salary
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees= 11150 Non. Gov. fees= 2169 Hostel fees= 2400 Others = 5500 All the above mentioned fees are for general category, relaxation in tution and hostel fees is provided for OBC(NCL),SC and ST students. For OBC(NCL),SC and ST students, those who are unable to get hostel rooms are given allowance for PG hostels.
Campus Life :
Different competition are conducted in various fields The annual sports festival 'Aavahan' has always been a attraction for students. Hackathons and quiz competition are conducted by the college in both state and national levels. The infrastructure of the college needs improvement as most of machinery in the labs, especially in the core branches, is old and not working properly

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.
