- College is good and it's a brand in itself it really has a great alumini network in various sectors which helps students to get good opportunities easily.
- Campus life can be said to be good as there are many kind of people here so you'll learn a lot from their experiences.
Dislikes
- College do not provide a good opportunities and curriculum seems to be updated as what we learn in college is totally different from what companies are demanding.
- Library timing is literally very poor, you've to miss a class if you want to go to library.
Remarks :
Basically I was looking for a budget friendly college with a good alumini network, so I opted this college as it is affordable and it has a great alumini network as well. But there are some drawbacks which I came to know about when I joined the college. The Traning and placement cell is not very active so we've less on campus opportunities and faculties are not really in a greater side. But as attendance is not a very big issue here so you can prepare any government exam or can skill up yourself without facing any attendance issue.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is same as other engeneering colleges, in first year you've to learn a little bit about all engeneering streams and from second year(or third semester) you will be going in your respective departments, some of them are good and some are average but there are good equipment in our labs. There are both kind of faculties like some are brilliant in their field and some are not up to the mark but afterall the all are helping in nature and support you if you're having good relations with them.
Placement Experience :
On campus opportunities are very less as recession was going on but nowadays college is fighting back and providing 12-13 lpa packages in core branches as well , if you're in a core branch then college will provide good opportunities but if you're in a technical branch or want to go in IT sector then you've to put more efforts from your side.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Basically the tution fees is 22300 per year and if we include all other charges(like exam fees, ome time feels etc)then it is about 25,520 per year and if hostel is allotted to you then it comes to about 28,000 but this doesn't contain mess charges , you can join different mess according to your taste.
Campus Life :
As this is one of the oldest college in Madhya Pradesh as well as in India so the infrastructure feels like outdated but there are a lot of resources among them. You'll find students from all over India are coming into this college so you'll surely get a good atmosphere and exposure here but it depends upon your group also. Campus is good we have modules of Brahmos missile and a retired jet plane and tanks also so you'll feel good once you get into the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
I was not able to get into the hostel as there is a quite few seats available only. So I opted a P.G. which is nearly 1.5 km far from the college, P.G. doens't gives you the atmosphere of a hostel but it is ok upto some extent.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
