- College infrastructure is average but the British period building especially the civil department is quite overwhelming
- There is so much of greenery and a natural vibe to the campus that is quite amazing
Dislikes
- Lazy and not caring faculty who don't even bother to take lectures and do their duty.
- No grievances of the student are given an importance by the administration of the college No work is done.
Remarks :
I chose this college for its astounding alumni network worldwide which provides you with great connections and an excellent exposure to various industries. You have to clear JEE Mains and then you can proceed with the MPDTE counselling through which you will be able to choose this college and get admitted in the BTech Civil Engineering course, you need to have an average rank to qualify for this college in the counseling procedure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in the field of civil engineering and construction and I was very keen to learn building and planning various kinds of structures since childhood. The faculty in the civil engineering department are highly qualified here like from IIT ,NIT and stuff but the are too old school to go beyond the textbook mentality and urge the youth to learn new skills and they are really lazy over the top, they don't even care if you are actually having a positive output studying civil engineering here. They set the paper really difficult and the exams are postponed on a regular basis like every semester there are two or three papers bound to be postponed.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have done many non paid internships like adharshila design studio , etc in indore but here in jabalpur also you get many great opportunities like the ordinance factory the gun carriage factory the West central railway etc to pursue internships and vocational training in different fields
Placement Experience :
No placements at all, The placement and training cell here is a dumpyard no sense no use at all. The professors and the other staff do not even care about your placement that you will get a job Or not. No company other than TCS would bother to visit this pathetic college to recruit guys and gals.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees structure is of ?22300 per year that means you have to pay ?11150 for a single semester. If you opt for hostel that will cost around just ?2800 for an year which is quite economical, this is for general category. Depending on your category and performance in 12th class you can avail various government scholarship which can go far upto reducing your tuition fees to zero.
Campus Life :
No campus life at all, weird administration and no office work like grantinh scholarship and collecting marksheet is ever done on time. The official never show up in their office on the time they are supposed to be there. Classes and lecture scheduling is horrible they don't even teach to be honest, no labs are conducted, overall a waste of time to be in this college especially the CE deptt.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is nice you get double seater rooms in first year and second year and then you go further in third or fourth year then you get single rooms which are quite good compared to the condition of single rooms. Ragging is a big problem in the hostelad that is the reality, the force you to do stuff which you might not like. Mess food is really a 'mess' here it's like tasting poison straight from hell better go outside and eat or join a tiffin center from outside of the hostel

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
