- british period buildings especially the civil department is quite overwhelming.
- there is so much of greenery an a natural vibe to the campus that is quite amazing .
Dislikes
- lazy and not caring faculty who dont even bother to take take lectures and do their duty .
- no grievances of the student are given an importance by the administration.
Remarks :
i chose this course because i wanted to pursue my career in the field of civil engineering and construction and i was very keen to learn the building and planning various kinds ofstructures since childhood.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the faculty in the civil engineering department are highly qualified here like from IIT,NIT and stuff but they are too old school to go beyond the textbook mentality and urge the youth to earn new skills and they are really lazy over the top, they dont even care if you actually have a positive output studying civil engineering here.
Internships Opportunities :
yes i have done many non paid internships like adharshila design studio indore WCR etc but here in jabalpur you get many great opportunities like the ordinance factory , gun carriage factory to pursue vocational training.
Placement Experience :
No placements at all, the placement and training cell is a dumpyard here no sense no use at all. The professors and other staff do not even care about your placement that you will get a job or not. nocompany other than Tcs would even bother to visit this college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
college infra is very average but the british buildings are amazing especially the civil department is quite overwhelming there is so much of greenery and a natural vibe to the campusthat is quite amazing.
Campus Life :
no campus life at all weird administration no office work like granting scholarship and collecting marksheet is ever done on time. the officials never show up in thier office on time they are supposed to be there.
Hostel Facilities :
no i personally dont live in hostel because it is full of drunkarrds and drug addicts. ragging is a big problem in the hostel and that is the reality they force you to do stuff which you would not like

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
