I had written neet entrance exam which is exam for mbbs ug course through which I got seat in Kodagu institute of medical sciences through merit by counselling through kea Karnataka board and cut off is based on college
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mbbs course is good professional couse where you get to serve people with illness and chance to give healthy life to people and in Kodagu institute of medical sciences faculty is good and student friendly and teaching is through ppts for theory and also practical which gives knowledge about human beings and exams are annually with internals for 3 months
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is compulsory after completion of mbbs which is 4 yrs and one year of internship and in internship we learn various skill like communication with patients lab skills operating skills and many other
Placement Experience :
Internship is one year after completion of 4 yrs mbbs and in internship we get 30 k stipend which is good money for a 23 yr old student and most of the students above 85% qualify for internship through final year exams
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Kodagu institute of medical sciences is a government college with fees of 72000 which includes tution fees of 50000 and other fees of 22000 which includes admission fees cultural fees ,sports , Id card , marks card , digital library fees etc and we get scholarship worth 57000
Campus Life :
Kodagu institute of medical sciences has good campus and college infrastructure is good and even hostel is good with good rooms and furniture and moderate mess food taste and quality .. sports meet will be conducted annually and fests are done for various festival and annual college fest
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel has good infrastructure with good rooms and quality furniture and hostel hygiene is maintained by students and cleaning members hostel is government based and cheap and hostel itself contain mess with moderate quality food and hygiene

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
