Remarks :

In this area of the state, this college is not very famous or well known but is criticized for lower number of placements and also least quality of placements. I didn't get good scores(more than 70 percentile atleast for CSE and 65 percentile for EEE and ECE) in my JEE Mains exam and while the OJEE counselling, I applied for this college mistaking it for VSSUT's Self sustained branches. To get admission here, now you have to get good JEE Mains scores and apply for counselling through OJEE. There, you have to apply for different courses in different colleges and based on cut off system, the admission process takes place. Admissions happen in 3 phases and once you have applied make sure to check for the official websites of the colleges for the information related to admissions and also make sure to check the OJEE counselling dashboard. There is no Interview or GD round for the admissions however, they have their own exam for entry into other courses such as the Masters' degree.

Course Curriculum Overview :

So, I chose this course because of my interest in Web development and digital architecture. There are 8 semester with at least 5 course subjects in each along with 1 to 2 labs. and the last 2 semesters consisting of minor and major project. There are two types of faculties are there, the first type is the one that is fundamentally clear about the concepts, teach in a clear and concise way understandable to all and clear all doubt without taking the queries personally. Such faculties are very few in number and then there are the faculties that are egoistic, arrogant and do not even have clear idea about the subject. Nobody know how they got their jobs. Even some top level faculties with a Phd do such things like making fun of students by passing personal comments and embracing favoritism. Talking about the term exams, There are 2 Semester exams in a year and in between the semesters, 2 Mid-term exams take place. The exams are not tough rather we are provided with selectives.

Internships Opportunities :

In SUIIT, they don't provide any opportunities for internships. Sometimes, some faculties help students with references but from the college, it's close to zero efforts. Although, I have worked as an intern in my college to manage the social handles and website. The stipend was 2500 Rupees per month and the whole thing was 3 months in duration. Although, they make the payment to the interns quite late and do ask about what was done by the intern for the college before making the payment. Although it was a role for social media manager and website maintenance, we performed everything from content writing to PPT making. I also worked as an intern in NALCO as a web developer through some personal referrals. Although it was a 1 month training program and internship and had no stipend, I still managed to pull off 3 cumulative projects with my partner. 2 of them were front end development whereas one was for RPA and another one was a project management task for testing of a software.

Placement Experience :

The placement scenario in this college is quite bad and the ROI is almost nothing. On top of that, they also have a CGPA criteria of 7.0 to attend the placements(although, it defers according to company's ask). In the previous year, the only placements were by Tata Power that too is rumored as references. The year before that however resulted with the hiring of many students in companies like capgemini, muvi, SVG, Qspiders, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, TCS etc. However, the highest package grabbed by any student on campus was 18 LPA and off campus was 23 LPA(I know him personally). Talking about the statistics of students getting placed, every year at most 20% students get placed in companies that too with an average package of 3.5 LPA. Talking about my plans, I want to pursue my dream of becoming an entrepreneur alongside I also want to join any work from home role suitable for me to get the income source to fund my business. Also, it will provide a stability to my financial situation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The basic yearly fees for the college is Rs. 96000 and hostel is Rs. 12000. the college fees contains the Tuition fees of Rs. 70000, Development fees of Rs. 15000, Lab Maintenance Fee of Rs. 3000, Student Activity Fees of Rs. 3000, Examination Fees of Rs. 5000 and other expenses (to be mentioned as Caution money, Training and Industrial Tour, Alumni, Provisional Certificate, Marksheet, Late Fine, Excess paid and Miscellaneous) of Rs. 0. However, during admission a caution money payment of Rs. 2000 needs to be paid by the students. Now, Breaking down the hostel fees(Rs. 12000), it consists of the building fees is Rs. 5000 and Electricity bill of Rs 7000 per year. Hostel does also take Rs 2000 and Rs. 2000 for the purpose of Caution fees and mess advance payments. About other courses, the TFW students are paying around Rs. 26000 annually and same goes for the MCA and MSc students. State and national scholarships available but mentioning about all is not possible due to 1000 words limit.

Campus Life :

There are 4 clubs in the college namely, the Sports club, Innovation club, Literary Club and Cultural club. Each of them have their own fests. The fests happen during the months of January to March. Although, the college mostly disagrees with most of the ideas and suggestions by the students. The fest are conducted in a combined manner and there is no fixed date or month for any fest. The library of the college is filled with text books. They are in a quite good condition and the library allows students to have the books for around 45 days and you can renew them after that. Journals and Publications by the faculties is available in the library for research and study purposes. The classrooms are less in number but are quite good enough for classes. Although not all of the classes have A/c and some are even smaller enough to be not able to fit in an elephant. The college does support extracurriculars but the facilities tell otherwise. Also, all of the mentioned clubs are run by students

Hostel Facilities :

Talking about the quality of food, it's not as bad. I mean, it's something you can eat and not like but not too bad. The menu is quite good but the taste sometimes is horrible. Almost everyday, we take food and throw half of it into the dustbins because of the taste. I'll be attaching a food menu hereby to give you an idea of the food being served. Ps. you also get a feast on special occasions. The registration process for the hostel is quite easy, you have to make payment to the hostel account number, given by the officials and then fill a form. Alongside the form, you need to also pay for mess advance and caution money to the mentioned accounts. The hostels are quite good compared to the fees and are in a very safe area. If searching for PG nearby, many are there and the locality is very kind and helpful towards the students. The nearby places are tourist spots and the police are quite aware about the safety and security of the whole area.

Review ITER

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

Silicon university review

Placement Experience :

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

The Ready College

Placement Experience :

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
