- I like the senior junior bond. There is completely no ragging and hence we are free to interact and be ourselves. The seniors are very friendly and helpful and more than teachers they guide us more better. The cultural opportunities, studies is important but in healthcare fields other hobbies and talents sometimes get burried so the cultural opportunities we get where we can showcase any and all of our talents is great. Along which which we have great exposure where we are given chance to attend conferences, meet different professionals and peers from across the nation, showcase our talents, give presentation on our resarch and get awarded for it. It is a great platform to gain knowledge and self confidence. Also the practical knowledge provided in the college is great, the hands on practice that we get , no other colleges in Pune provide. We've been thought basics of denture making from first year itself so that in second year it does not become a burgen .
Dislikes
- I hope if there were better parking facilities, better canteen, better auditorium, a proper site where we could monitor our attendance , holiday lists. Now we get to know one day before if tomorrow a holiday or not. Better and bigger library, comfortable study area in library. Every college have some good and some bad staff and same way even here we have some very strict staff and some are very chill and friendly. Other than that I am happy with whatever is there.
Remarks :
Good aspects- At prime location- in centre of pune, nearby from home, easy travel safe roads. Patient flow- it has a hospital within and as it is I'm the centre and the hospital treatment charges are very reasonable so there is a really good patient flow. Fees- very reasonable fees compared to other colleges in Pune. In other colleges in Pune the fees vary from 6-7 lakh with yearly 5-10% increment. Staff- very well qualified staff. The doctors and staff are recognised internationally and they teach really well. There is no interview or exam rounds except NEET which is required for any medical/dental and healthcare field. Admission is through cet cell, everything is online . You apply online and if your names comes in the list then you have to go to the college and do the documentations. Bad- the college is smaller than other deemed colleges. - doesn't not have a great auditorium - library has variety of books but sitting area is very small
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course was a perfect blend of art and health care. My 2 interests. Dentistry is a art, it requires precision and perfection. It is difficult but it does give a work life balance in comparison to mbbs. The subjects in the first year is similar to mbbs i.e- anatomy, biochemistry, physiology. There is a additional dental subject - dental anatomy and dental histology along with practical classes of prosthodontics and dental material studies. Staff are very well qualified, very department has 3-4 staff to teach. They are Internationally published and authors. Their teaching quality is highly appreciated. Yearly there are 3 internal college exams with 2-3 months gap which are all converted into 10 marks and final exams are conducted by muhs , nashik. They are once a year and they are quite difficult to crack. Highest percentage is around 70-80% . 60% in muhs- university exams are called great score.
Internships Opportunities :
I did opt for an internship, I opted to work and observation and accomplished dentist. In this field practice is most important than anything. As I am in first year , I did not have a comprehensive knowledge to perform and task but i gained knowledge through observation and how to handle patients , how to be calm, how to explain the patients any treatment, how to comfort the patient.
Placement Experience :
In medical colleges there are no placements. Though the staff in the college have their own clinics where they do give some students opportunities to work under them and learn. There is a compulsory internship period for students after final year of 1 year duration. After the internship the student graduates and is eligible to open his/her new clinic, work under a professional or do a maters degree. Almost majority of the students get jobs or work opportunities. I don't know my current plan after the degree i may open my own clinic or work under a clinic and side by side do my masters degree. But during the internship period the college does not provide any stipend to the students/interns. Though the internship experience is great due to great flow of patients and hence Variety of cases and chance to handle them and learn from it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly- 2.25L No increment on yearly bases, fees during admission will be throughout the course. Management quota- 3 times the general fees. During my admission it was- 7 L University fees and various other fees during admission. Eligibility fees- 50,000 Disaster management fees- 10 Amartya shiksha yojana policy - 2125 Ashwamedh fees- 470 Development fees - 100 Alumni fees- 5000 Journal fees- 300 per books There are various scholarships for students available and college gives assistance on that. For sc, st , obc the fees are compared to general are less. I am from management quota so my fees is 7 Lakh per year. Additional expenditure for different instruments are there. In my first year i spent around 15,000 on instruments.
Campus Life :
Campus is huge- it is called AZAM CAMPUS. It has a huge ground . The campus has schools, junior colleges , different professional courses like physiotherapy, unani, pharma, b.ed, business management, architecture. On every occasion there are small celebrations such as - dentists day, orthodontics day, women's day, teachers day etc. Library has 5000+ books along with e library. We have good wifi access. Classrooms have huge sitting areas to accomodate 100+ students comfortably, digital boards are there in classes. Yearly for 2 weeks fests happen, in which sports competition , cultural competition to showcase talents and flash mobs and everyone including the teaching & non teaching staff play. There are various instagram profiles of each year run by students for updates and showcasing students achievements and talents. There are anti ragging commitee, nss group, student council, cultural secratary, sports secratary.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel life is not so good. Girls have hostel in the college campus which boys have outside the campus. There are 2 types of rooms . Vip - in which there are 4 people sharing a room & has a washroom inside the room. 2 bunkbed, 4 cupboard, 2 study table. Very small rooms , i sufficient space . A common fridge for each floor with one stove . No message facilitate I'm the college. There are tiffin services for hostel people which is also not so great. Other type of rooms are- 2 people in a room with washroom outside. They face lots of water issue like unavailability, dirty water . I don't stay in a hostel but as far as I know the hostels are very affordable. If I were to rent a room, if I want near the college there are many sharing rooms near poll gate area which are also spacious and clean. Or in ku era part society, it is little far but less rent and better houses or maybe somewhere on mg road. It is easy to find rooms.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
Affordable college for the middle class students.
Placement Experience :
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
