When I got enrolled in the uni it was merit based system. I got selected in the first cut off luckily. And I prepared for my 12th very well thanks to my teachers and school they prepared me well so that i could get in.
The syllabus is quite vast but interesting. I got to read papers of famous economists, political activists and english alumnis. The course was overall interesting for me. As for the faculty, they're very supportive and help out in every situation you are and guide you. Teachers are very humble and polite.
The fees is divided for every year and the examination fee for every semester. It includes tuition fee, maintenence fee, i card fee, certificates etc. The examination fee is mere 500 ruppees which is quite affordable.
I didnt make a lot of friends but the ones i made i guess they were one of a kind. It indeed gave me a different perspective overall. Meeting people from different parts of the country, learning how diverse are the cultures is always exciting.
I did not opt for a hostel because it was not available but there are many options for accomodations like pgs and flats. You will meet a lot of people who think like you or different and might become best of friends. The rooms are okay for a student they provide free wifi, food, study area and every facility.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
