- Green infrastructure- the infrastructure is quite good. There is greenery everywhere. There are more than 1 grounds and a lot of space. There is gym also. Also there is badminton court. There is separate cafe and an open area in the garden to sit and enjoy your coffee.
- Campus life- the campus life is very happening. There are various fests going on throughout the year. There are many cultural clubs. All these things keep students engaged. There are lot of things to learn. Students are from all across India. This provides great exposure. There are many competitions held in the campus intra college and inter college as well.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of washroom was not good. Cleanliness is an issue in the college. In some classes the fans and lights are broken which makes it difficult to focus on studies.
- The options in canteen food should be increased. There are only 7 to 8 items available in the canteen. Students need more good quality and tasty food.
Remarks :
I chose is college because it has good campus. And also I heard from my friends that the teachers are good. The admission at my admission time was on 12th marks and there was no group discussion or interview for the same.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course because I had interest in political science from the very start. The faculty had phd degrees from reputed university like JNU. They had great teaching experience and very good knowledge. The exams were held twice a year which means semester exams. The difficulty level is moderate. Apart from this there are assignments and presentations.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunities in political science are mainly in government bodies. Many students did their internship from various ministries and also Niti aayog. The main tasks used to be policy analysis, data analysis etc. I did internship from Niti aayog. The internship opportunities are based on your academic performance.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are good . The student must have good cgp. The highest package for political was 7 to 8 lacks. The employment opportunities are various including political analyst, Social advisor, media, competitive exams, public policy analyst and much more.one can also pursue masters degree and phd after the course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is 10485 per year and there is no extra fees. Students are provided scholarship based on their scores.. there is no lab fees for political science students. 50 percent fee concession is provided to students on merit.
Campus Life :
Lehren is the main cultural fest in the college. It is helod around April. Apart from this other department have their own college fests and all are held between December and may. There are sports activities and competition. There are various clubs , one can join accordingly.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel in the college is not yet ready. It'll be ready next year. The college has a canteen and the food is quite decent and highly affordable. There is also sitting space. There is also a cafeteria and sitting space.the hostel fees as per we are informed will be 60000 per year

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
