- Classes get cancelled anytime so the students who travel from distance faces difficulties.
- Fest and trips should happen more often.
Remarks :
I was from a 2021-2024 batch. It was the last batch before cuet appeared. I was selected on cut off basis and i took admission in 4th list . Now cuet is being conducted so one has to study all the material according to their subjects till 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i was always very keen to learn about economics. I found it really interesting which it actually is. Teachers are very helpful and will solve all your doubts . Tutorial classes are held in which only doubts of students are taken and solved. Exams are held timely and the datesheet is given to you befor 1.5 to 2 months . This helps the students to plan there schedule well . The exams are average if you have studied otherwise you can call it tough.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes i opted for internship in wipro ltd. It was a really good company . I worked for like 2 months in there after that i took a break because i was not able to focus on my studies and my hobbies as well.
Placement Experience :
Placement cell works well. If offers you many internships and job opportunities. It's upto you and your skill that you're able to crack the interview or not. Many companies like Wipro, zomato, etc come for recruitments. Highest package is 4.5 to 6lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees for the 1st year was 14000 rupees Then for 2nd year it was 17000 and 14000 again for the third year. I was from a general category so i wasn't able to avail any scholarship options but if you're from ews or any reserved category then it would be easy to avail scholarship.
Campus Life :
Fests are conducted but not very frequently . Its like one in a year. Library is also not very much filled with all the books. You would notice lack to important books in the library. Classrooms are clean. Extracurricular activities are also there if you take interest and participate.
Hostel Facilities :
No hostel is provided to you . You have to opt for pg. There are many pgs in satya niketan and anand niketan as well . Food quality is not the best but it's eatable. I was living in E9 anand niketan on baba balaknath mandir marg . Owners are money minded but the pg is beautiful.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
