- If you love nature then this university will feel like heaven to you .....the university has a lake and a waterfall along with a beautiful mini forest inside the campus.....there is central library in this university and you will feel a very eco-friendly surrounding here as every person here is eco-friendly

Remarks :
I have enrolled in this course through CUET pg, which is a national level entrance exam for post-graduation,so the overall marks was 300 for the year 2024 and the cutoff was 131 for general caste and 111 for reserved category,just follow the pg syllabus for the entrance exam which you can find it on the official website.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As a economics student I can say that if u love maths, science, literature then economics is great combination because economics is that subject which is studied in the arts, commerce and science also.....so if u want to do bsc or msc,ba or ma,bcom or mcom then economics is the field where you can choose any preference
Internships Opportunities :
As I'm in the first year in this university so i didn't get any internship yet but don't worry RBI is in collaboration with this university so they will tell you the career opportunities and intership opportunities
Placement Experience :
For BTech,mtech and MBA department get employment every year but for other departments it depends on the department's career counseling services....but don't worry university will make you eligible for any employment opportunities
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If u r from northeast then u can apply for NER scholarship,and if u r domile of meghalaya then u can apply for umbrella scholarship and if u r not from northeast then also u can apply for national scholarship for postgraduate studies
Campus Life :
So in NEHU campus everything is great,u can experience the general freshers in day time,along with the late DJ night on the same day.....there is also prom night in the April month, u can carry your partner there or if u don't have any partner then you can go along and search in the party also for the dance, there are many more fun festivals are in the NEHU....there are so many competitions and seminars that is held every month
Hostel Facilities :
The overall fees is 2300 where hostel fees is 300 and mess fees is 2000......so for boys it's easy to get hostel allotment in the very first day but for girls only half applicants get the hostel allotment on the first year but don't worry after the 1 year you can get hostel allotment as you will be senior by then....the mess food is average,if you are not into so much spicy foods then the mess food is good for you but a spice lover like me may not like the hostel food

Placements are mid , my seniors got placed in various companies, and last year a seniot got placed in google with 20LPA i guess , the average package is low but the placement cell is trying to bring companies

The employment rate of my course is demanding so I opt this. Also there is campus opportunity for some courses available in the college. After biotechnology you can choose any profession like professor researcher etc .

Job opportunities from our college is not quite good, but our college is renowned for their excellence in commerce so employability after completion of course is not a big issue especially for me, i personally would like to get involved in financial sectors

Since it's a college affiliated under NEHU, so there's only graduation course here. But if you want to do masters you have go to NEHU for that. Only then you will get a good placement. But I had friends in other departments they were given the opportunity to sit for placement interview but again the package isn't as high as someone would get after post graduation.

Placement opportunities were not directly available but many companies and institutions scouted our students through seminars and programmes for further job after the degree. The package differed from student to student and they were offered individually to them so it was hard to know the exact number.

But as I’ve heard from my seniors, the placements here are quite good and many of the students grab the placement opportunities that are offered here.
