- The infrastructure of the college is very good and campus is also very beautiful. For the sports lover student the campus is like heaven in the campus there is cricket stadium, Football statium, Basketball ground, Volyball ground, university own indoor stadium and also in the university there is a campus of Sport authority of India.
- Teb environment of the university is just awasome. From any place of the campus you can see the green big big hill which is very beautiful. And one more thing in the campus you will get everything you want from post office, bank, ATM, food court all things are available in the campus.
Dislikes
- The food of the mess is not very good for students. And it is the most dislikeed thing.
- The laboratory equipment of the department is not well maintained.
Remarks :
The college environment is very good. It is situated in the hills for that it's name is North-Eastern Hill University. With the environment university offers is very unique courses for that I get admitted in the university. The admission process is done by the JOSSA counseling and with the JEE MAIN rank of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties of the department is very good they always help us and there teaching methodology is very unique, when they teach us always they use real world example which help us a lot to understand the topic. And with that the teacher student ratio in our university is best among all the university in India. And the teachers are very friendly with students.
Internships Opportunities :
There is many internship opportunities available in the university. It's totally dependent on the department and the students of the department. Departments teachers many times contracted with the company and many time the companies come to the campus to give intership opportunity. Students get internship opportunities in Indian oil, BEL, BHEL, DVC, NHPC, NTPC like companies with out that many private companies offers intership.
Placement Experience :
The placement in the university is decent not very good and not very bad. Nearly 50-60% students get placed from the university. Companies like Amazon, Apple, Flipkart, Indigo, Pursuit software and other IT companies visit in the university. Highest package is nearly 15 lakh per annum. Average package is 4 lakh per annum. My plan is to go for higher studies after getting the degree.
Campus Life :
An annual fest is there in our university it's lasts for 2 weeks and in the month of February and March this fest happened. In the fest various types of sports activities, group activities and music night DJ night happens. The library of the university is quite a big nearly 8 lakh book is there in the university central Library which help students to get there desirable book. Class rooms of the department are very good and equipt with advanced equipment like smart board, projeter etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Everything is good but only one thing is bad in university that is food. Not bad but for the North Indian students it's very difficult. Very less vegitables and also 2 time rice in a day. For registration for hostel you have to go through the university website from there you can apply for hostel. But the hostel room are very good and the view from hostel just awasome and in the hostel they offer every needed things.

Job opportunities from our college is not quite good, but our college is renowned for their excellence in commerce so employability after completion of course is not a big issue especially for me, i personally would like to get involved in financial sectors

Since it's a college affiliated under NEHU, so there's only graduation course here. But if you want to do masters you have go to NEHU for that. Only then you will get a good placement. But I had friends in other departments they were given the opportunity to sit for placement interview but again the package isn't as high as someone would get after post graduation.

Placement opportunities were not directly available but many companies and institutions scouted our students through seminars and programmes for further job after the degree. The package differed from student to student and they were offered individually to them so it was hard to know the exact number.

But as I’ve heard from my seniors, the placements here are quite good and many of the students grab the placement opportunities that are offered here.
