Likes
- The faculty we have got are experienced, and that's very useful.
- Instead of an end semester examination, we are evaluated on basis of our projects for our branch. This is a very good practice as it will prepare us for real world problems
Dislikes
- The collageis very small in size compared to other collages.
- We must clean our own rooms in the hostel, and with the work we will be having in collage sometimes we will it is a little more. Also we get hot water only for some time in the morning and in the evening, so we feel it is difficult mainly during the weekends.
Remarks :
We had a written entrace exam, no GDs and interviews. The written exam also was for the seat and scholarship purpose, there are people who entered with jee scorecard as well without writing this entrance exam. And there are some people who paid extra anad dod not even show any of the scorecard and entered the collage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course and it was having a lot of demand while I was entering. The facultys are very good, with knowledge and some them even completed their phds. Each faculty has a unique style of teaching, where some involve all of us to actively participate and some just teach and go. We have continuous assesment evaluations. Which means we will be evaluated on a daily basis, withquizes and lab evaluations, also we have a mid term examination conducted for 50 marks and reduced to 20 out of 100 for the final cgpa count.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not opted for any internship yet, but I am giving the trials, few interviews exams are very difficult to qualify, but I am trying and giving my best. We will be getting daily updates about the available internships via collage mail or WhatsApp groups.
Placement Experience :
The campus placements are available, and we will be eligible for the company according to our cgpa, if we have 9 and above we can get all the companies, few companies consider 8.5 and a few 8 above and 7 bove. For the student above 5 or 6 we will have mass placements, that's the companies hire them in bulk. We also have some internship opportunities in our 3rd year itself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise I will be paying 325000, I have a scholarship of 1 lack, which I secured during entrance examination, there is no seleragelab fee, but a caution deposite of 10000. For the current joinees the fee without any scholarship goes upto 600000rs , again there is an exam and they could also avail the scholarship
Campus Life :
Kalakrithi fest(freshers day)- August or September month Kalanjali fest- April or May month, this fest is for 3 days and we will be having different types of competitions and food stall, all of us enjoy a lot, and sometimes we also havedj evening Most of the books are available in the library, and even if they are not available, if we go and ask in the they will give access to online copy. On the classroom we have wifi provided by the collage, also a projector and a white screen, for presentations. Some of the eomodwled classrooms have ethernet facilities as well and individual charging ports, enabling us to work on our laptops in the classroom itself, without the need of labs. There are around 54 clubs in our campus, we have both technical and non technical clubs. We can take the membership according to our interest. All the clubs are run by the students itself but mentored by some faculty.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for hostel, and the hostel message serves only veg food with egg for 2 days a week in the afternoon. We have two types of tiffins inthe morning with bread and milk being served daily. Coming to lunch, we will have one coloured rice and plain rice, sambar, some curry, rasam and curd or raita or buttermilk. Coming to the dinner we will have chapathis with some gravy for 4 to 5 days a week, and also we will have plain rice, day, rasam, some curry and curd rice or buttermilk daily. Overall the taste in ok We have common washrooms, they are ok to use, sometimes a dirty and sometimes clean, workers clean it two times a day. We are having daily outing from 3.30 to 6.30pm in the evening, using which if do not like the food that day we can go out and eat as there are many options, as the collage is in center. The laundry will be taken weekly once and we will get back after 3 to 4 days. We just need to opt for hostel during the application procedure

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
