I didn't take any group discussions or interview or anything like that. I just didn't get any other better option. Ai and cse are good in amrita.....I would not recommend any other course. Eee and mechanical are really horrible courses in amrita.
In ai the course and faulty are really really good. It's very up to date...but ece, eee and mech are really really really bad. Some courses in ece eee and mech they purposefully try to fail students so that they can opt for the course again. Which is sad.
We get a lot of opportunities, but it's just links from online that are posted again in the group, and mostly no one gets the opportunities. In 2 classes of ai which is like 160people in total only 2 or 3 people get the internships.
If u 8.5 or 9 cgpa + u have a chance to get a decent job...anything below 8 Is like telling there is a huge possibility u won't get a job at all or ull get a job where the lpa is 3 or 2 . The placement rate is currently 40%
I got in through jee mains scores. U get various scholarships if u write the amrita exam instead. Fees start from 1.5l(as of 2022 batch, the current fees has increased) and to keep your scholarship u need to be more than 8cgpa
The campus life is good now a days. But the people aren't that friendly. There are a lot of hostellers and most of them are telugites(like more than 70% are hostellers) and there is a lot of groupism if u aren't a telugite or don't know Telugu.
The food quality is really really horrible in hostels. It has no flavour but is really really spicy. It gave my friend a kidney stone. Even the water is heavily chlorinated and tastes of chlorine. It's just pure bad.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
