This college is one of the best nashik district which happens to be my hometown so it was one of the reason for my admission. The K.K.Wagh education society carries a great reputation for providing quality education. The admission process is simply based on your score in exams such as JEE and/or MHT-CET there is no interview or test for admission.
The course curriculum is based on the basics and ongoing trends in the area of study. It provides hands on experience on various topics. I choose Robotics cause it's a interdisciplinary field related to mechanical, electrical and computer and also it's one of the most trending topics. The faculty members are experienced and have good knowledge of the subject. The exams are conducted in time duration of approximately one and a half month (Insem) and the final exam is conducted after 4-5 months .The exam syllabus is based the course and some oral or practical exams.
The college provides placements for student's who are eligible. The eligibility varies from company to company but is generally based on your marks. Some recruiters who visited the campus are KPIT, Advani group, Glat industries, Faurecia, Tata group, Nvidia ,Dhruva, etc. The average package is approximately 4-5 lakhs per annum and the highest is of 18 lakhs per annum.Generally 80-90% students get placed through the campus interview.
The fee for my course is approximately 138000 Rs for general category students but it may change based on your category or if you get admission through TFWS, apart from the admission fee one must pay some development fee and health insurance fee.
The college has various fests such as Maffick which is a college fest conducted in the month of March or April apart from it there are various sports tournaments such as KPL , KSF, etc. The sports facilities are good they also provide a gym and indoor sport. The library has various books and also a online platform for preparation of various exams. There are various social groups run by students such as Team Brahmastra racing, ISTE, Team matrix etc. The college life is filled with ongoing activities in or around the campus
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
