So Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce and Economics is one of the best colleges in South Mumbai. So after 10th I wanted to get enroll in Lala Lajpatrai College and luckily I got enrolled . There were no interview or written test to get enrolled in college
So I choosed BBI course which is Bachelor of Commerce (Banking and Insurance) because I wanted to make my carrier in banking sector and I chose Lala college because it is one of the best college in south Mumbai and the quality of faculty is excellent
So I personally have done an internship which was provided by Lala Lajpatrai college’s placement cell . The name of the company was techanalogy and I guess they have change their name now . I was in sales team over there
Lala College does have a placement cell which is pretty much active. They do provide internships as well as job offers. This year they invited recruiters from big companies such as Accenture, Morgan Stanly and many more
Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce and Economics has affordable fees so our first year fees was ? 16000 then in second year it was ?17000 and then in Third year it went to 18000 rupees only. These are the fees of self finance courses
I chosen BBI so that I can make my carrier in banking sector and there was a feast of BBI department named EPITOME and I was the HOD of events so I managed the event and what will be the rules and regulations of the events
Lala Lajpatrai College of Commerce and Economics doesn’t have any hostel as it is situated in a prime location which is in mahalaxmi and I live in Worli so I did not stayed at hostel or anywhere else.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
