A strong course curriculum should balance theory and practical application, allowing students to build foundational knowledge and apply it in real-world contexts. For Electrical Engineering, essential topics include circuit theory, power systems, control systems, and renewable energy technologies. The curriculum should also include modern advancements like smart grids and sustainable energy, along with hands-on labs, projects, and possibly industry visits or internships.

In many engineering colleges, the placement cell actively coordinates with companies to conduct on-campus recruitment drives. For Electrical Engineering, typical recruiters include companies in the energy sector, manufacturing, infrastructure, automation, and IT firms that value engineering skills for roles in project management, operations, and technical sales. Core companies like ABB, Siemens, L&T, and Tata Power are common recruiters. Some colleges also attract multinational companies, which may offer higher packages and global exposure. The success of placements usually depends on the college’s industry connections and students' preparedness, which includes technical knowledge, soft skills, and sometimes specific certifications.

Social life includes not just hanging out with friends but also participating in events, festivals, and informal gatherings that give students a break from academics and create lasting memories. The quality of food at the hostel mess is often a top concern for students. Typically, a good hostel mess serves a balanced mix of meals, catering to different tastes and dietary requirements. In India, you can expect meals with a variety of Indian dishes, often rotating daily to add variety. Some hostels provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and many have provisions for special diets. Hygiene and cleanliness in the mess are crucial, and it's always helpful to check reviews from current students for a realistic understanding of the quality.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
