- The college is completing a girls college which is a major advantage.
Dislikes
- There are no hostel inside the campus so there is no night life in the college.
Remarks :
For admission in this college you need to apply for uttarakhand counseling after you JEE score with a possible percentile of around 60-70. The cut off for this college goes very low which is a plus point for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are friendly and supportive in nature. They are highly qualified and done PHDs from the university of WIT itself. The exam are held timely in period of every 4 month as the semester also last for 4 month with 2 months of break.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship in our college is not necessary to be done. But you can apply for offline internship such as in BSNL, ONGC etc. The criteria to join this internship are you should not have any back in your semester score.
Placement Experience :
My plans after completing btech is to prepare for GATE examination as there is no hope for a good placement from this college. The average package here goes around 3 lakh which means rough around 20,000 a month.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee keeps on increasing every year by a little amount currently for year 2024 the fees is around 1.2 lakh. For 4 year of btech course it will cost you around 4 to 5 lakh including all the charges.
Campus Life :
The life in campus is good in all aspects it can be social life or clubs or related to fest every thing is upto the mark. The college also has a huge library with availability of book for every course.
Hostel Facilities :
the hostel are not provided by the college you need to find them yourself outside the college area. These hostel ranges between 5-6 thousand according to your need. The mess and food quality is below average.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
