I wrote the COMEDK exam through which I joined this college. I did not face any group discussions or interviews for the admission. COMEDK and KCET students do not have this. Management quota students get direct admission based on their 12th marks and 10th marks. The cutoff for my branch through COMEDK is 33000.
I chose this course because I'm interested in developing and programming. All faculties have minimum M.tech degree and most of them have PhDs. The teaching is really good and the exams and internals are on time and never postponed or advanced.
Placements aren't much this year. The highest package till now was 25 LPA. There weren't much placements this year. The highest in 2024 is 12LPA. Others were off campus. There are good internship opportunities and workshops related to skill building. The placement committee is also good.
The yearly fee structure for COMEDK students in ?1,95,000. The fee doesn't increase every year. An extra VTU fee and lab fee of ?25,000 should be paid every year along with the tuition fee. For KCET students, the tuition fee is ?1,00,000 and for management quota students the fee for Information Science and Engineering is ?3,00,000.
There are a few clubs to join in the college. There is a cultural club called "Kalaparva" which takes in dancers, singers and members for other sub branches through auditioning every year. There are auditions for dance, singing, photography, painting, poster making , video editing, content writing and many other areas.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
