Things You Need to Know If Considering Rd National College
Remarks :
After scoring decent marks in 12th hsc boards not many colleges give students option along with affordable fee structure. I had applied to few more colleges and among them rd national college was the best choice. This college offers wide range of programs for student and they keep adding it every year. They are kind of still outdated when it comes to class rooms as the benches have not been changed since long and there is no air conditioning. The college has still done a lot of renovations and improvements also recently added new projectors replacing the old ones for the entire college. There are no additional exams for any courses you want to take in this college all the students are given admission based on 12th percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science is one of the best course that is being pursued right now, offering students best kind of pay after completion and the course covers deep aspects of other parts as well such as social skill, entrepreneurship, content writing as well. The teachers for the courses are well versed and come with 10-15 years of experience on field as well as teaching background. Exams for the first two years are conducted by the college itself and they are taken on time with other courses exam and the final year is of the university. Exam difficulty 8/10.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't gotten any internship opportunities form my college as of now and I am currently in my 5th semester with one more semester left so can't say anything about the future but as of now I haven't gotten any
Placement Experience :
There are placement drives conducted by college every year where companies come and conduct interview rounds for students but last year the college was not able to bring any company so they kept a career conclave which is similar to career guidance counseling which I dont think help any student since they still didnt get any other placement drive from the college.

Campus Life :
Campus is okay not much room for seating but it includes a lot of flora as it is also a botanical garden then there is canteen, innovation club, national college magazine club, Xerox center, stationary center and Boys game room and basketball court as well.
Hostel Facilities :
No I haven't opted for hostels as I stay nearby and as of my current knowledge the registration is an outside feature that is not done by the college rather the students have to find it themselves which I harder to do given the college location is in Bandra and hostels and sublets aren't cheap.

All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
