Remarks :
The review of this college and family experiences made me enroll to this college. The faculty review , supportive ,friendly and green environment spread across the campus and around it is very peaceful and relaxing. The college is well known for the hotel management and students across different states through India come to enroll for that course and also for the various other courses. The majority of students belong to kumaon culture as this college is situated in Haldwani , Nainital which is popularly known as Gateway of Kumaon. The rules for now as institution being it's own university has changed to a extent which I am not much familiar with. During my admission there were no admission tests and interviews as such but for now I don't think any such criteria of exams or interviews is set for any of the courses. The major thing is the regular attendance, above 75% and the timely payment of fees,failed to fulfill make face consequences of fine payment along with fees and debarred.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The overall experience of the course is very nice but only drawback for our batch 2022-25) and junior batch (2023-26 ) is that we don't get any internship through college as we are registered under Kumaon University,Nainital but for the students of the year 2024 for are registered under the Amrapali university itself so they have changes in their curriculum and get regular involvement in various seminars , clubs and other competitions in the college. The faculty is qualified to the best level , even most of the assistant professors are PhD qualified and are associated with various renowned institutions.There are professors having more than 15-20 years of experience. The Dean of the department of commerce is a foreign post graduate and is a recognised scholar . Exam pattern and the difficulty level of the paper has now been changed according to the university norms and it will be easy to moderate. The semester exams take place in December and June ( end of each semester).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Amrapali group of institutions is now Amrapali University from this year (2024) and the fee structure has been changed for the degree that is approx 44000 per semester and around 80000 yearly. The registration fees is 1500 rs. And scholarship provided are based on your merit , if you score above 90 percent in your 12th then there is benefit of around 15% of your yearly fees in second year of the degree( 3 semester) and also female quota for every female registration. If anyone has above 90% and is female she will get only one benefit. The another scholarship is provided on the yearly percentage of external exams to the overall topper of the year ( both the semester) .
Campus Life :
There are fests like Abhinandan (fresher party) in month of September, the spardha (sports event) in November last , carnival and spandan in February and other departmental events of various departments and interschool competitions conducted by the college and various other events and at last the farewell party held during the month of May. There are social clubs, sport clubs ,alumni club, etc. and the college also provide registration in NSS with regular seminars and visits . The Library provides a decent environment and a great variety of books ,journals, magazines of various knowledge fields. The classroom has the smart board with teachers use while teaching students and also take presentation on a regular basis for the concept clearance and keep the students active.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
