Likes
- We have a huge library and two badminton courts.
- We have three food outlets that is Nescafe, college canteen and pizza slice.
Dislikes
- I dislike that we don't have much sports fields here and not much enthusiasm is shown towards sports activities by college.
- I also dislike how girls in hostel are not allowed to stay out in campus after 5 30 pm in evening even though boys are allowed to stay out till 9 pm.
Remarks :
No group discussions or interviews for admission. Getting an admission is pretty easy here. I chose this University for its affordability and how there wasn't much competition here and quite peaceful and less chaotic.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum includes various types of subjects that give us day to day practical knowledge as well and also works on our communication skills . Faculty is quite good except some teachers who are too new and inexperienced. Otherwise all good and all senior teachers are too good .
Internships Opportunities :
Not really. I don't know of any since I'm still a fresher but the college does provide with internship opportunities and also one day workshops that may lead further to internships . Hotel management students are taken for training in their 2nd year .
Placement Experience :
Hotel management department has really good placements. All the famous hotels like Ritz Carlton, the oberois and etc have come here for placement and taken so many students. The highest package is around 500000 per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We are paying 448000 for the whole course And scholarship details include 95% and above in boards: 50% scholarship 90% and above: 20% scholarship 80% and above: 15% scholarship and so on The caution fee is 15000 for everyone.
Campus Life :
Library is quite big and has tons of book. There aren't many clubs but one of the most well known club is social media club which is quite interesting and u learn a lot of skills like graphic designing, anchoring editing.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess has decent good taste breakfast but the lunch and dinner are average only . Evening tea snack is always good. Room include two people and attached bathroom for girls. Washing machine, gym , iron are additional facilities provided by the hostel.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
