- The most amazing part has to be the location of the college, it is just near the Marine Drive, like you cross the road and there is Marine Drive to chill out
- college faculty is super chill, they are amazing to work with
- infrastructure is amazing, classrooms has AC and are very spacious
- Canteen food is decent and since the location is amazing you get food nearby very very easily
- Specially the station is a 1 min walk so it's super easy to travel and also very affordable
Dislikes
- College campus is not that big, it's a single building in which everything operates
- There is barely any network at all, you have to go outside the premises to have a decent network
- They only allow you to go upwards from the lift and not to come downwards
- After having so many students, there are only two lifts which are barely free to use
Remarks :
Jai Hind is one of the most renowned college in Mumbai, my selection was on the basis of merit, you have to fill the form, submit it along with your marksheets of 10 and 12, the merit list will be out and you can check if your name is there. There are a quotas like : Sindhi, In House, OBC, SC, ST
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course take you through various subjects specifically focused on Finance and Banking like International Banking System, Tax, Financial Reporting Analysis and so on. The examination was divided into 2 parts, one written for 60 and other 40 was divided into various parts like project work, attendance and so on.
Internships Opportunities :
I did not get opportunity to go for internship as it was Corona but yes I started working early on in a company based in my hometown as an Accountant and was no paid to be honest but yes it was great experience but if you go to college, you must start interning in the first year itself and you will be given attendance grace as well for the same
Placement Experience :
Placement is nice, you can expect starting of around 30k per month from a job. There are big companies like EY, KPMG, all you need are good scores, confidence and some credit points to be the part of the placement group and teachers will definitely help you with that.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is quiet affordable, 1st year 22000, 2nd year 20000 3rd year 20000, all in all you'll be done in 70k max for 3 years course, and I think over-all you will not have to spend more than 1 Lakh on your college including your stationery as well !
Campus Life :
The campus is not big though but there are various clubs and groups and college fest Talash is a great experience to be a part of. You can definitely enroll yourself into one by asking the teachers or seniors and also they are super updates in class groups and website and notice boards.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel premises, you have to find your own place to live in. Quiet honestly, Churchgate is quiet expensive so you can choose to stay at a near station like maybe Dadar and if that is also expensive you can go for Andheri

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

Placement Experience :
The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
