I appeared for the entrance exam called CET and scored well in my entrance test. I was initially interested in opting for another college called GLC at Churchgate but I received a call from VESCOL and I visited the campus. It was ultimately the friendly attitude of the staff and my cousin also taking an admission here which was the deciding factor for me.
The curriculum is decided by the Mumbai University which needs to be updated and adjusted desparately. The faculties are good overall and the college has a primary focus on Academics and overall learning.
I have personally not opted for internship through the college placement cell however I did apply and did internships on my own accord through LinkedIn and other channels and my experience was genuinely pleasant
Internship Placements are quite good as the placement cell is very active. There are internships and job postings every single day and the placement cell is managed by students and faculties in consonance with various firms and organisations
25,000-26,000 rupees a year generally is the fee structure of the college which is quite affordable for the services they provide us. However since the new building was just constructed, the fee structure might increase.
We have 2 annual fests, National Law Fest, which is a National level competition we hold and Lakshya, which is a recreational and cultural event. Apart from these we have various committees and other events that conduct events frequently to keep the students engaged. The classrooms are great and adequate and so is the library which could be better though. We also have an annual sports meet in February which has various events like Cricket, Football, Tug of War, Badminton etc for both males and females. The students are great overall and are generally quite welcoming!!
I have not applied for a hostel as I am a local here but I have heard about the hostel from friends living there and I sincerely suggest you consider alternative residence options as the hostel here is not really a bang for the buck
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
