- Everything is great about RLAC, The infrastructure is good , classrooms are well ventilated, smart boards are present almost in every classroom, students have access to wifi throughout, labs and libraries are their with plenty of sources. Faculty us very supportive and keeps students motivated throughout, you get to remain in touch with faculty of other departments as well through college societies. So my overall experience has remained wonderful
- Talking about campus life, we get to see crowd a lot, students from different states are present over their. No communalism or inferiority by other fellowmates I've ever faced.
Dislikes
- Just the need of AC, I feel Atleast 1 classroom should be there in all the departments with AC present in it.
- Campus is somehow smaller, as half of the premises is taken over by Aryabhatta College fro timely being Otherwise everything is okay overall
Remarks :
As RLAC is considered the top most college of DU for Microbiology that's why I chose this college otherwise I was getting other colleges of North campus as well, but I wanted to pursue microbiology only. That's why I chose RLAC
Course Curriculum Overview :
So the faculty of our department was best with all them as PhD in all specific subjects. Many of our teachers have pursued their degrees abroad such as University of Manchester, and From Korea as well. Well educated and highly disciplined and motivated teachers we had in our department. Exams would usually start after the one month of onset of new semestertill the final exams.
Internships Opportunities :
College research grants, through which we work as in house research interns and I was part of one such project under one of the professors of our department. We get to work on those projects in our free classes and we can also work on Saturdays and Sundays and also during summer break or mid sem break.
Placement Experience :
Placements for our sept did not take place because majority of the students option for higher education, so there is no placement for microbiology students. But students who applied on their own got decent job packages like 5 to 6 lakh per annum
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So because of my 12th class merit , I was able to avail the benefit of JKPMSSS Scholarship, due to which all the admission fees and academic fees was taken care of by govt. The approximate yearly fees used to be around 17000, and did not increased with time. It almost remained constant. The exam fee would increase as per the increasing practical subjects . Students could avail benefits of NSP or Inspire fellow scholarship as well. EWS category will get concession in fees by college authorities.
Campus Life :
So the college holds three major events, farewell, freshers and Annual fest. Farewell is around May and freshers is around September and Annual Fest is around mid year. I have had fantastic experience of these three events, during fest, high profile singers were called and they performed.
Hostel Facilities :
RLAC does not have hostel facilities for its students, so students usually prefer to take Flats on rent or get admityed in the PGs nearby mostly in the areas of Satya niketan or vasant gaon or moti gaon, so that kind of becomes difficult.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
