I applied to this college for CET Cap rounds, and I got this college according to the percentile (96.12) I got. Compared with other colleges, this college has good infrastructure and good canteen food(slightly on the pricier side, but food quality is good). There were no GD rounds or interviews; you have to apply to this college through CET only. The college shared a PDF that neatly mentions the admission process.
Personally, I wanted to join the technical side so I opted for the CS and IT courses in this college from which I got the IT course from CAP Round of CET. The curriculum prepares you fro real-world applications as well and for me the relevant I had were C, OOPs in JAVA, DSA in C, and advanced Java up til now till my 3rd sem. The faculty members are quite approachable and friendly some of the faculty are of PHd qualifications as well. There are some faculties who can't teach well. In my 2nd yr right now the exam pattern is as follows, Every Monday test of all subjects (one subject per week) X 2 and the average of that subject counts as MSE (mid sems) and ESE (end sems) at the end of each sem. The difficulty level is quite moderate.
Yes, there are internship opportunities available in this college. Internships from TCS and much more are provided in 3yr. Roles like WEB Developer, and App Developer are been given to the students to gain experience in real-world scenarios. Industrial-grade projects are been offered in these internships.
In 4 yr the placement starts. Major companies visited are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Deloitte and much more. The average package this year was around 7-8 LPA and highest recorded was 35 LPA till date. Current placement are very worse no student from my faculty has been placed yet. My plan is to become a full-stack developer in college placements.
I paid a yearly fee of 77,638 rs as an OBC Cap Admitted Student. For the open category, the total fee is 1,26,768 rs, for VJ/NT/#SBC students its 18,507 rs and for SC/ST students its 768 rs. For TFWS students its 18,507 rs, for J&K/CSAB-NEUT students its 24,768 rs and for AICTE-PMSSS students its 0 rs.
The annual event we have is called VERVE which usually takes place in FEB-MAR months. A lot of books related to the curriculum are available to students in the library along with some self-help books as well. Every class in college is digitalized with a digital board and well-fitted ACs in each class. For sports, there are several councils for each type of sport and there are several competitions held as well (intercollege / college level) and talking about activities there are many events as well organised by the committees (ITSA,CSI etc). There are no student run social groups.
No, I am a day scholar student and I have not opted for a Hostel. There are no hostel facilities as well given by the college. The only option you have is to rent a room nearby to the college or share a common PG with other students.
After completing the course there is job in my college,as we can be a tutor, staff and guide the undergraduate students .the highest package after joining after undergraduate is 30000 per month and lowest is 19000 per month as fresher if we join.
The college does not provide campus placement, but faculty regularly share job updates and inform students about openings. They also guide and support students for applying to jobs. After diploma, I plan to complete my degree in IT and then get a job in the IT field
Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.
The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.
course curriculum and faculties are one of the best in overall pune course is neither strict nor too lineunt it is best suitable for students faculties are very experienced with most of them holding doctorate degree
Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown, people are more focused on mental health, thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
