The good thing about my college is that it offers you a very large diversity here we have many clubs and societies from drama to singing to tech department. But in 1st year there is very strictness here like you will not be able to join them also for CSE students you will only study coding in 1 semester. There is an entrance exam named KIITEE from which you can easily get admission here
The course here is nice but indeed you will need to work hard from your side. There are very supportive teacher who will support you and also you can join them in their projects. Every semester there are 2 exams held one is mid sem and other is end sem. And you can easily score in exams.
No till now I haven't opted for internship but they give you very oportunity for internship in 2nd or 3rd year in many companies like Amazon etc. but you cgpa should be above 9 in order to grab on campus internship
The placements here are very nice for people who have secured a nice cgpa and have nice coding background as in day 0 many dream company visit here and also for students who have expertise in foreign language they get to sit in placement for foreign companies. Highest package last year was 55 lakh and avg is 8 lpa
The fee structure is like around 6 lakhs including the mess and hostel services and all the other small fess too. And there is also scholarship provided for those wo secure under 1000 rank in KIITEEE entrance exam .they provide a 1.25 lakh scholarship per year to those students. In 3-4 years the fee structure had increased
The campus is very large and beautiful but the students living in hostel in 1st year are not allowed to leave the hostel after 6:30 pm . Events happen every week and the main KIIT fest happens in the month of February. The epitome of KIIT is there library building it is just amazing and also the aura there is very wonderful There are many clubs like KIIT robotics society,E-Labs , KSAC etc.
I have opted for 2 bedded ac room . So hostel here are nice and also they are very stricted like you can't go anywhere after 6:30 for 1st year , for 2nd year it's 8:00. The mess food is nice and also the hygiene is maintained.. you get a variety non -veg (4-5 days ) veg daily .
After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
