- The teachers are very nice in the college
- Various workshops happen in the college which leads us to gain in knowledge of different things.
Dislikes
- the infrastructure of the college is not very good and is small as compared to other colleges
- the societies or clubs of the college does a strict recruitment because of which the people who are wiling to join the society does not get a chance for it.
Remarks :
I applied in many colleges while preparing the preference list of colleges, which included SRCC, Hansraj college, KMC etc. but didn't get that my marks were below the cut off of these colleges. Then I chose this college as it is near from my home and has a great environment along with faculty. I got this college after giving the CUET exam and prepared for these rounds as they are from 12th class syllabus only mostly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course curriculum in the college is pretty above average, and we get to know about a lot of businesses, laws that are required to know in order to run a business and also accounting. Some subject teachers teaches their subject so good using real life examples that students can never forget their learning. The exams happen every 6 months and difficulty level vary according to the course.
Internships Opportunities :
No internships have been offered to me till now from the college. Students can apply on their own for the internship for various posts and internships are offered to some of the people who are involved in a specific societies in the college.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement in the college is pretty average as only few students get a job when the companies come in the college to recruit students from the final year. The average package that is offered to the students is about 4,00,000 to 5,00,000 and highest package that anyone has got is about 10,00,000. But some people do not go for campus recruitment as they want to pursue higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My course that is B.Com Hons was around 9600 in the first year and now as i am in the second year it has increased to 10500 and it will surely increase in the third year also, so it will be around 31000 fees for the full course. Therefore the fees is surely increasing with increase in time. There is no scholarship in the college as it comes under CUET exam. Meanwhile the fees of the course may vary for people with quota like SC, ST, OBC etc.
Campus Life :
The life in the campus is very good as the people in the college along with the faculties are very good. The fest in conducted in the college every year with a guest singer which lightens up the environment and is really very good to see. There are also many sports team in the college and they go on to compete in various competitions. There are also many clubs in the college like dance, finance, music etc which people can join according to their interests.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no such hostels in DU except from some colleges in the north and south campus. Meanwhile the people go on to rent a flat and live in a PG who come from far. The quality of the food there is good and the rent of the pg and flat varies according to the location.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
