The course is quite affordable and budget friendly. The faculty and locality is also good. No there is no GD/PI for the course it is merit based admission but now they take students on the basis of their score in CUET exam. You just need to cover your 12th standard syllabus for the exam.
The faculty is good. They give you the practical exposure to the course. You will get to learn a lot of new things. The course is dividend into 6 terms. 5-6 months each term. And you will also get semester breaks.
The internship and placements are not really good but they are improving year by year. The companies visit the campus for profiles like marketing, sales , hr etc for bcom students basically. For bsc students there are not domain based profiles. The average package is around 3-4 lpa
The approximate fees of my course is around 11000 per year. This course is divided into a three year program with 2 semester in each year. There are scholarship also like PMSSS for students from Jammu and Kashmir. And there are various other scholarships also on the basis of merit.
There are a number of societies and club in the colleges like 3Ps: the art and craft society, Rotaract Club and many more. They help students to show their skills. The college also organise the annual fest. You must take part in them to improve your skills and follow your interests.
No the college doesn’t provide any kind of hostel facilities to the students although you can find pgs and flats in the nearby area at an affordable price. In malviya nagar it self there are a number of pfs and flats for students.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
