- Permanent campus - Most of the IIITs constructed at same year as IIIT una does not have there own campus, IIIT una has its permanent campus with good hostel , mess and sports facilities.
- Placement bof year 2023 were very good average pakage of IT branch was 16 lakh per annum and highest package was 47 lpa. And about 90% of students got placed. So the placement states are good.
Dislikes
- The thing I disliked about this college is lack of coding culture. No hackerthon or competition are encouraged and college has a very hard and strict curriculum, so student don't get time for personal development.
- IIIT una is situated about 10 km from una city. Which causes difficulties in buying any stuff, although there are small shop near campus, but main city is away.
Remarks :
I have scored 98.04 percentile, in jee mains 2024 My rank was 30900 . IIIT UNA because I want to opt cse. I opted this college because of its placement states, permanent campus, hostels, sports facilities, and location .Only Jee rank and josaa seat allocation certificate,and other documents. No interview or test is required. 1.Permanent campus and hostels. There are 4 hostels for each years and hostels are of good quality, has washing machines, mess facilities is also good as compared to other colleges. 2. Sports facilities -There are 7 badminton court, 2 basketball, 1 football ground,etc. Sports fest YALGAAR is also conducted to encourage sports. 3.MRIDANG our cultural feast is conducted which was 4 days event. 1.A total of 15 lakhs is your 4 years fees for btech,which is very much , for a institute of national importance, or compared to NITs, which provides fee wavers also. 2. I have not satisfied with the coding culture of this college as I have heard in college reviews.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course of our IT department is advanced. And it not follow the outdated curriculum. 75% attendence criteria is mandatory. All facilities are very good in there work and teaches very well. Ther are 2 major exams in a semester and some minor tests are also conducted. Every class has projectors and ppt are provided.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not opted for any internship yet. 1 full semester is dedicated to internship. Internship and referral culture are also good in IIIT UNA. Many seniors have cracked internship, I have asked them about there experience and worked they gives valuable information.
Placement Experience :
The IIIT una has good placement stats. A full semester is dedicated for internship. The highest package of IIIT una was 60lpa (oof campus) and 47 lpa (on campus). And the average package was 15 lpa. Placement percentage was 95.6 % The average pakage of cse was 12.4 lpa . The average pakage of IT was 12.8lpa. The average pakage of ECE was 11 .8 lpa Many companies like Google , Facebook, nvidia, Goldman Sachs, Adobe etc visited during placement season.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Indian Institute of Information Technology Una Fee Structure Per semester-?130000 For 1st semester -?130000 Hostel fees per semester-?39,940 Total per year tution fees-?260000 Total tution fees for 4 years-?1040000 Total hostel fees for 4 years-?160000 And yes this fees will increase as passage of time. Caution fees for hostel is taken for hostel fees which is ?20000. All categories (St,sc,general,obc,minority) have same fee Structure. All kinds of government scholarship are available to and private scholarship are provided if you apply for them. College do not provide any fee waver for there side
Campus Life :
Campus Life at IIIT UNA is not bad, although it is made away from city, there are various clubs , sports facilities, are provided . Gym facilities is also provided. There are various clubs in our college like EPMOC- cultural club, ZENITH-sports club,SARGAM- music club,AAVESH- electonics club, FORCE- Coding club,EIC- entrepreneur club , etc these club conduct meetings and compete weekly.
Hostel Facilities :
All students at IIIT una have compulsory hostel facility. There are 4 hostels in campus for particular years, Half part of one hostel is reserved for girls.Hostel are well equipped with washing machines, good bathrooms, cleaned timely, good cleaning facilities, good mess facilities. There are 7 badminton courts, 2 volleyball, table tennis are also present, lawn tennis, football ground are also present. Hostel room are shared by 3 students with 3 beds and 3 allmari for 3 students. Menu of mess are good , and timely changed as per the seasons.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
