My parents stay in Mumbai and Pune is pretty close to Mumbai and Pune being educational hun was always a target place to study in. For admission being a non marathi student I had to apply on the basis of my JEE MAINS scores where my Marathi friends applied on the basis on MHT CET as well as JEE Mains.
Course curriculum is good as it updated every four years by SPPU(Savitribai Phule Pune University) being an affiliated college SPPU course is followed. Coming to faculty they are pretty helpful, few of them are rude, faculty are mostly ME/MTech qualified and there are many PhD qualified faculty too. Examination schedule is decided by SPPU. Exam is based on the syllabus decided by SPPU
No I haven't applied for any internship because I am currently a second year student and second year student's are not eligible for internship in college you can apply for off campus internships. College makes you ready for internships
There is a dedicated Training and placement department in the college who's whole and sole motive is to get you ready for placements. Companies from IT to core background come for placement. Highest package was 70Lpa and avg is 5-6lpa around 60-70% students gets placed. There is even a International relations cell which helps students to get scholarship and admission in various international universities
90000 is Tution fees and 13500 is development fees there are various scholarships for students from category and female students as well, ranging from 10% to 80% of overall fees. Minimum fees for reserved student is 30000.
There are various clubs from all of the different departments and there are many events organised by these clubs from college curriculum activities like poster designing to hackathon to quizzes to sports competition. There is a library in the college where you can find books of department's and a journal section too. There is even a newspaper and magazine section. There are many confessions and meme pages run by students such as DPU confessions Dpu memes
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
