- one dislike is the limited variety in food menu at the hostel mess , which can get repetitive over time
- another is issue is the lack of modern infrastructure in some areas like classrooms and hostels.
Remarks :
I choose SKN Sinhgad college of engineering mainly due to its reputation within the sinhgad group and location. admisssion is based on MHT-CET or JEE main scores , with no GD or PL . The college offers a good campus life and helpful faculty , but could improve in areas like curriculum updates and connectivity . I prepared for MHT-CET by focusing on Physics , chemistry, amd maths to meet the required cut-off
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the ENTC Course at SKN Sinhgad college of engineering because it offers a balanced mix of electronics and communication with diverse career opportunities . the course curriculum is solid but could be updated to include more modern topics like AI & ML . term exams are conducted on time and are moderately difficult , mostly based on the syllabus testing both theory and practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities :
Yess , internships are encouraged at SKN SCOE and several companies offer opportunities for students. stipends typically range form rs 5000- 12000 rs average depending on company . these interships help in gaining practical experience , which is essential for improving employability.
Placement Experience :
The placement at SKN Sinhgad College of engineering are decent , with many students securing jobs especially in IT companies . To be elligible for campus placements, students must have a minimum of 60% aggragate and clear the company selections process. Companies Like TCS , Infosys , Wipro and capgemini visit. offering both software and core engineering roles . the highest package is around 8LPA while Average package is 3-4 LPA and 50-60% got placed .

campus life at SKN SCOE is lively , with a friendly crowd and a variety of social activities .there are several clubs including technical , cultural and sports clubs offering students a chance to engage beyond acadamics . the college hosts annual CARNIVAL event . the library is well-equipped with books , journals and digital resources . classrooms have basic facillities like projectors and benches.
Hostel Facilities :
the hostel at SKN SCOE offers hostel with basic amentities with shared rooms 4 students in each room , mess providing simple indian meals . the food quality is decent , but the variety is limited . the infrastruture is functional but not very modern. To apply for a hostel room , you need to register through the college hostel office after addmission and fees are affordable.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.
