Remarks :
Got marks in the cuet and was allotted this college and it was much near my home. I took tuitions for the cuet and got around 600 marks hence i was allotted this course , so i had 2nd thoughts but joined this course at the end.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course which i have is ba computer application + economics so i had variety of options for the future hence i chose this course. The difficulty is moderate sometimes paper are to easy sometimes too tough
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My Fees per annum is 13000 which includes everything, but extra examination fee is paid which comes around 1200-1400. The fees in dyal singh college is very much affordable for mostly all the courses .
Campus Life :
The societies are too cool and also the social life has started improving. There are 2 seperate libraries for evening and morning college. Both the libraries are spacious and have variety of books , be it of any course.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
