- Amazing faculty and end number of societies to choose from according to your interests. Campus is pretty big and filled with greenery all over.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure in classrooms are very basic, regular classrooms don't have projectors and few computers in labs don't work. Overall Infrastructure is a 6.5/10
Remarks :
Scored 681/800 and got in first round with my chosen course, this college was my 10th preference. College is close to my place and all that was required is to score good because cut off for bcom hons goes very high.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties for evening college is better than the morning, teachers are very supportive, understanding and laid back. Assignments are not too much and teachers are qualified. 1st sem exams start in January which is later than other colleges.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
fees for complete course is under a lakh, the fees is not increasing and is very affordable. Fees does differ with the course you pick but the difference is very minimal. Financial aid is also available. Fees for general category like mine is also less.
Campus Life :
Lots of active societies to choose from, my social life has become so much better as I've made friends because of such societies. However overall fests in college is less in number due to previous fights that have taken place in the campus.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
