- College has best faculty having good knowledge about the subject. Infrastructure should be developed for students growth and understanding.
- There should be promoting other skills as well as singing, dancing, sports, filming, etc..
Dislikes
- Hostels are not inside campus. We are looking for hostels outside campus
- No scope for dancing, singing, sports, other quality or skills.
Remarks :
There is no written test for anybody to get admitted to the college.. Yes there is certain certificate required for admission..like resident certificate, income certificate of your parents, aadhar card , photo copy , matriculation certificate,+2 certificate, etc.. In odisha , Stewart science college earns many reputation as 2nd after ravenshaw college. There is also poor quality lecture but a few .. But out of 10 lecture 8 of them are surely good .. So I prefer this college to be studied on..
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is many lectures having mphil and phd on botany and also having msc on botany or biotechnology or life science of botany.. Lecture having phd on Botany sure teach us better and can makes us understand chapter or concept purely.. So there is no tension on internal exam , because there were silly questions.. In semester you have to read properly whole subject.. Difficulty is moderate..
Internships Opportunities :
Yes , I have opted for internship. And Get internship on biotechnika online mode for AI ML / bioinformatics for 6 months . There is also offline mode internship but my situation prefers online mode Internship. Get around 6000.
Placement Experience :
There is also placement for the Botany course like laboratories.. salary comes around 2lakh-3lakh to 5-6lakh . It is important to apply internship and get active always to put efforts on hitting placement. There is also helping hand from lecturer.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First to join this bsc botany course you have to pay admission fees around 16-17k for (general,obc) and for sc-st you have to pay around 10-11k .. Then other semester and readmission fees are there.. Semester fees like comes around 3-4k for general, obc and for sc-st 1-2k .. a And re-admission fees comes around 5-6k for general, obc and for sc-st 2-3k will come ..
Campus Life :
There is many cultural fest held in college like annual function in December -january months..where food arrangement is held and also dance and singing also played... And in every department there is freshers party and farewell party... And in every year there is study tour on winter season.. Annual sports are held on December as well.
Hostel Facilities :
There is many hostel for girls but there is very few of males or boys . So for girls there is always hostels available but there is 4-5 for boys . But good quality room available in these area . And also there is rent houses for males or females.. there is good canteen avalanche around these areas ..

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
