- I ike the college in overall It's infrastructure and the faculties teaching are all impressive
- Placements and availability for various practical lab with even a separte ship in campus where you can gain practical knowledge in your futre careers.also the mess and hostel facilities are good
Dislikes
- Hostel washroom are of poor quality. With service of washine machine and other hostel features are pending which felts discomfort
- Absence of air conditioning and and a swimming pool in the campus felt like a disadvantage
Remarks :
In my case I have only this option in front of me as i could not getva seat in any other engineering degree and also I was not interested in normal degrees,so I choose this course.I have received an all india seat and not a state merit because I didn't attend CUSAT CAT EXAM and only IMUCET entrance exam .To get admission in this college we need to receive ranks from both the entrance exams . The IMUCET was a objective oriented test in which aptitude testing was there along with normal entrance subjects physica , chemistry,Maths etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because this was a different type of entrance comparing to other degree and also this course enables totravel around the world .this job is a difficult on ethat you have to be alone, separated from the family The faculties are retired chief engineers and others with PhD.all are well professional people with vast subject knowledge.the exams are well planned and executed in perfect regular timings.the difficultly level would be intermediate as i would say. teachers' teaching method are different but jn general all are understandable
Internships Opportunities :
There are internships available but you have to find yourself ther is no internships provided by the college .you have to apply it Private but if you ask for verification and permission ,it will be given and guide you through the entire process
Placement Experience :
Placements till now is 100% but according to market fluctuations it can vary . placements are from good companies with very high LPA packages .Companies coming to the college are Synergy Marine, SCORPION shipping, fleet management LTD,seven islands etc . companies arrive a d they test our cadets intellectual and subject knowledge and there thrive towards this job
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees : 320000 Tuition fees : 216100 Hostel fees : 16200 Registation fees : 1000 Admission fees : 2200 Laundry charges : 2025 This above fees is for all india merit For state merit fees are in general less about 100000 less yearly For girl cadet students there is scholarship around 400000 yearly and for backward caste there is scholarship which there entire tuition fees including mess fees will be covered.the mess fees are 21250 for 6 months and need to pay in advance .There is no mess cut available
Campus Life :
The campus life is well and good .there are fests conducted in this university in about every two months.One of the fest's name is SARGAM which is basicaly the university's art's fest in which every institution under it would celebrate with competitive programs which would give thrill and excitement along with competitiveness to get the overall trophy ????.Overall it is fun .now the college library is there and is filled with Marine related articles and books that is required for course. The college is also supporting various sports activities including badminton,throwball , cricket , football ,basketball , volleyball ,chess carooms and other indoor games like table tennis ,efootball etc .There is a NSS group which is maintained which is doing various socialised improvement to both the country and world.there is a college magazine which is fully developed by the students particularly third years
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess is attached with the hostel .all students getting admission has to take food from this mess itself outside mess facility not available.the mess food quality varies .it is generally average quality food.the mess will only provide chicken as meat and no other therw is only fixed menu and alterations to it can be done in mess meetings held every two months.hostel is affordable compare dto school fees

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
