- The director and course in charge is very friendly and helpful in difficult situations
- Faculty members have very good subject knowledge and campus life is good as compared to other marine colleges
Dislikes
- Its a disciplinary course so u may not like it at first time and difficult to adjust at first
- Taking a leave is getting gold from treasure. Its a difficult process
Remarks :
Its a govt college and under Cochin University of science and technology Fees are lower than other marine Colleges The entry to this is ny imu cet so that its little bit tough but every one can crack it and the rank is to be registered in cusat official examination site in your profile and also register for the cat exam inorder to enter here. There are morning pts which are not that much effective and classes and hostel's are well prepared.The exam focuses mainly on commons aptitude questions so everyone can crack it with your basic +2 knowledge. Placement is increasing day by day . Every seniors are placed and offer 100%placement with an average salary 60k and faculties are friendly here The cut off for our batch was 200rank Thoroughly study plus two syllabus and do some extra questions of common aptitude test
Course Curriculum Overview :
Here each month college helds a meeting where you can share your opinion about faculties in our college so it will help the faculty to improve themselves. Faculties are friendly and they help when you are in difficult situation.Term exams can be difficult if you didnt study. The exams are easy. 40 marks are awarded from internal marks and 60marks from semester exam so total 100 and you need 50 marks to pass the exam
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven't opted for internship but there are many opportunities especially in Cochin shipyard where you can help them and learn by designing each parts of ship .states loke delhi ,mumbai ,coimbatore etc also offer internship so you can view them more detailed
Placement Experience :
You. Have to pass all the exams and have to clear if backpapers are there. exams are conducted by each companies to recruit cadets so be prepared.Placement procedures are done by focusing on CGPA score which is achieved by clearing sem exam with good marks . Shipping companies like synergy,msc ,mol ,kline visits oyr college each year to recruit skillfull cadets
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fee-77640-35943/ for state merit and 54000-112000/- for all india merit and it changes per sem Hostel fees are included in the sem fee which can be 15000 for state merit and all india merit Lab fee can be 1000-2000 range to both state merit and all india merit For girl cadet scholarships are provided so that they receives yearly 1lakh rupees which can be seen in national scholarship sites or can be contacted to the administration for more information St and sc cadets can have fee scholarship so that they are not needed to pay fees and govt will meet your college fee expenses
Campus Life :
Seasonal fest are held such as onam, Christmas ,diwali eid iftar etc. Sargam is our official arts competition fest where all the departments from our university competes for the win . Kurukshetra is a sports competition for the whole university which same as sargam. Inside the campus intersem which is a sports competition between each years of our college is held in each year as new Juniors enters and seniors passed out. There is a website named kunjali marakkar school of marine engineering where you can have the details of fee structure and more.we also get swimming class during weekends here
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is very good and sometimes you can get tired after eating the hostel food continuesly and it is common issues for every hostel students . Hostel registration is done with the admission procedure and mess fee is 25000/- for 6month here we cant rent a pg because its a residential course .If you get admission here then u surely get a hostel room that's is and each room is awarded for 3 cadets with 3beds and desk and the hostel is clean

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
