- I like our college campus and mostly the ground area and graphiti wall because these place are peacefull and stress relief in this pressure college life where you can sit with your friends and relax.
- I like culural society and best their best society which is Rangayan stage dramatics society they are so much creative and work hard for their craft and art.
Dislikes
- College faculty sometimes not very much supportive for exposure and cultural work in college they teach in old boring style of teaching and give issue in attendance for the students who work for their college and make then proud but at the time if struggle college didn't support they just want results and credit.
- Insfrastructure and less facility auditorium in college didn't yet constructed and gym also not have very good equipment and everything rusted.
Remarks :
Honestly, I didn't choose this college with my good marks and cutoff I got this college which is one of the best college in DU with NIRF rank 5 . This college had pretty good societies and cultural committees. to get addmission in this college you must have cuet score more than 760-65 now and there is no written exam or GD round for addmission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i like to study about poltics and this course help me to compare the real life world politics with the theory of polity some time this politics study also help in personal life. Faculty member of college are really very much educated from renowned Institutes like JNU but there method according to me are very primitive and sometimes interest in study ends when teachers method of teaching is boring . there is gap between 4-5 month for each sem exam in which we have to solve 5 question in 3 hour which is quite difficult for students it was happen during NEP before that we only have to solve 4 question in same time. Now this is lil bit difficult for students.
Internships Opportunities :
I personally didn't worked in internship I did work under bearsty awareness expert NGO in paid nukkad plays for them for companies like accenture and tata blue scope in which performance done for ethics and Posh Act.
Placement Experience :
To sit in placement most companies criteria of 7CGPA Or more than that you should have some skill in IT or analyst and other commerce. EY , UPRIVER, EZEDUZONE etc and variour company regularly visits for placemenet and internship for job profile in management, data analysis, marketing and sales executive and many more. Some times content writing. There is also a fest name JOB mela where in bulk companies recruit and internships opportunity available. highest is 8 lakh and lowest is 1.6 lakh and average packages are 3-4 lakh. 55 percent students are placed and other student go for further studies, government job and startups. My personal plan is after college go for MA and PHD Along with it following my passion of theatre and art.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Admission fees includes charge of whole fest, competition and other facilities in college but if you are participating in some program which take registeration fees then you have to pay. Lab charges are not included in admission fees there are other charges to issue the lab equipment amount 150 rupees everytime. Exam fees has different charges at the time of exam for different course according to their practicals. Like 800 without practical with practical 1500 or 1800 exam fees. Fees of my course is 16000 this year and my other friends of different course also had somewhat same fees structure some also pay 25000 fees because they are choose computer programme course in science field. College also have scolarship program like star student and other facilities like bonafide certificates and student who performed well also get cash prize.
Campus Life :
in starting of year for new batch of student college there is lil fest called AARAMBH which is a combined fresher for student if college and after that there is variour little fest happen in college under different societies in which they conduct various competition. And in the month of MARCh the annual fest of our college happened name TIDE in which 2 days college had concert nights of bollywood artist and various other events. College liberary had different journals national and international and other newspapers of everykind finance, current affairs and daily news and various literary books. And college classroom have Screen and projector in every classroom and lights and fans . for extracurricular there are various societies like, DRAMATICS, MUSIC, FASHION AND DANCE and sports like football, cricket, vollyball, badminton, table tennis, basketball etc. environment group, political group and student help group like happy club and other NGOs are very much prevalent.
Hostel Facilities :
No this college didn't had their hostel or mess campus timings are 8:30 to 5:30 after that student are not allowed in college. But there is locality called SATYANIKETAN near colllege where students gets rented flat and PG studentd always hangout their with friends a great spot for student of south campus.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
