coming to admission process for engineering the entry to the college is wholly based on your Jee advanced Rank based on your rank you can choose the branch which suits you then coming to the factors that made me choose this college are first of all its NIRF Rank being an second generation IIT competing with top IITs is a great think then its innovation rank my college ranks 3 in innovation field next i have talked with seniors of that college and i have got a very positive response so then i choose this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
so, I choose Electrical Engineering because I like it that's the main reason coming to the teaching methods and curriculum. The professors here are very well educated almost every professor had done their master's or PhD from a very reputed institute and their teaching methods are very engaging some of them do not teach well but we cannot doubt on their knowledge it's just awesome coming to curriculum it is very engaging there won't be any unnecessary courses from your second semester itself i mean combined courses which is not the case in old gen IITs. Coming to difficulty of term exams you cannot expect a easy paper coming into one of the top engineering colleges so the difficulty depends on the professor most of them are doable.One point to be considered is the lab equipment in some labs are not upto the mark.
Internships Opportunities :
I did not take any internship yet but i will write based on what my seniors got. Almost all know seniors to me got placed with good stipend the highest i know is 2 lakhs per month for 3 months, in electrical the highest is offered by nvidia with almost 70000 stipend
Placement Experience :
talking about the placements in my field they are quiet good almost everyone get placed in electrical engineering and the placement percentage is almost 90 percent(higher studies students are not considered) some of the top companies are nvidia, texas instruments, Qualcomm, Google, Zomato,Optiever,DE shaw and many more
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Let me mention the entire fee structure of IIT Hyderabad per semester starting with tuition fee the tuition fee is 1 lakh per semester then the hostel fees (every UG student must stay in hostel in their first year) is 15,000 per semester, then mess expenses are 16,800 and then all other expenses like medical, sports, gymkhana, lab facilities cost 11,000 rupees entirely it becomes 1,44,000 per semester and for the SC/ST category students there will be no tuition fee. Once you join in the college you will be getting many scholarship opportunities either it may merit based, or category based you need to constantly check your college mail to grab those opportunities.
Campus Life :
coming to the campus life it is just awesome seniors are very welcoming (some of them are not) and then talking about clubs the club culture is slowly developing and getting better day by day in my first year the clubs are not that active but this year they are very much active. Talking about infrastructure it is just awesome my college has a very good infrastructure with Japanese technology, our new sports complex is just awesome it also received the best complex(building) award world wide and the sports facilities are also good enough and then the newly built library we call it as knowledge resource centre it is just awesome the collection of books are increasing day by day coming to college fests those are not upto the mark at all this is the only point where my college lacks at funds are not correctly used or we are getting very little funds because of which our fests are not very grand and not at all upto the mark compared to other normal(private) colleges in the Hyderabad.
Hostel Facilities :
The quality of the food is the mess is good and tasty(only sometimes) and you will be having special dinners twice a month and taking about hostels first year student get double sharing rooms in their first two semesters and from 3rd sem they will be getting single rooms and the hostel facilites infrastructure of the hostels and really good and we are also having radiant cooling technology which keeps your room cool in summer and comparatively hot in winter.

However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

Course Curriculum Overview :
One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.
