- Being a central government hospital funds and facilities provided to us are far better than any other government medical College
- Hostels provided to us are top notch with separate washrooms and all amenities
Dislikes
- Sports facilities should be improved and separate UG reading room should be provided
- There is no specially dedicated UG building
Remarks :
The most important factor for choosing this college was IP UNIVERSITY Quota for PG and Central Govt. NEET UG is the only way to get into the college followed by a counseling process which is conducted by MCI.
Course Curriculum Overview :
To become a doctor was my childhood dream and to complete the same I entered this course. All the faculties are well qualified and mostly they teach through PowerPoint presentations. There are 2 internal examinations and one professional examination conducted at the end of the academic year
Internships Opportunities :
There is a mandatory internship for 1 year after the completion of the final year as per NMC guidelines. It is on a rotation basis in all departments of the hospital. A stipend of 30K per month is given during the tenure of the internship
Placement Experience :
There is a mandatory internship for UG students after the completion of the final year for a year in which you will get a stipend of 30k per month. Mostly students pursue PG after MBBS for which there is a separate exam i.e. NEET PG.
Campus Life :
Revels is the fest conducted by UGs and PGs combined. Last year it was in May. Sports facilities are limited on the campus. There is a library with all books and journals and a reading room which is 24*7 functional. Hostel is a perk. New Doctor's Hostel is opened recently with all amenities and air-conditioned rooms. There is a canteen and mess on the ground floor of the hostel itself.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
