For this course, first of all, I have to clear the NEET UG exam in which we have to score around 650 out of 720. To get admission. I took a drop after the 12th exam & then prepared for it at a coaching institute. One of the major factors in choosing this college is that this comes under the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in which we'll get 50% quota in the future NEET PG exam which will beneficial for us a lot
My main motive for choosing this course is my family. They want me to become a doctor & that's so. We have the top faculties in our college who make a lot of effort in their lectures. Academic exams are also taken regularly in every 2 months we will have our exams. As this is a government medical College, the fees are not too high, it will only be 46000 for a year.
Our internship starts after 4th year. We will have to do an internship for 1 year after clearing our 4th-year proof. We will have to spend our full day in the hospital & learn and experience a lot of things.
The job opportunities after getting into the medical field are not so much a huge problem. We can get a good job at a very good price anywhere & anytime. It is based on your experience and how much time you have spent in the hospital.
The campus is not as much as I expected. This is the only thing that I thought lacked in this college. The campus is our college is too short but it will be compensated by our college location in which we will have The Talkatora stadium & garden just in front of our college. The canaught palace is also just a 10 min drive away from our college which also makes our experience good enough. We have got a hostel inside our college campus for which I rated them 10/10. We get AC rooms there which is the best out of anything.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
