- Faculty are super sweet and helpful in every aspect for the students.
- Commute to college is super easy because it is ery proximally loacted near the ghatkopar station, which also has a metro station line.
Dislikes
- Campus life is non existent because basically there is no campus.
- The college attracts very cheap crowd and it also has a red light area near, so that is a con.
Remarks :
RJ college's Department of biotechnology has an amazing set of professors, most of them are PhD holders in fields like microbiology and bioinformatics, so this makes them very competent in teaching and biotechnology. They take maximum efforts to teach and students under their guidance crack several entrance exams like GAT-B, GATE, IIT JAM and CUET-PG every year. College doesnt really has a campus life, because there is no campus at all. Its difficult to manage a fest in this college. The crowd is also not that great. Admission process - You just have to clear your 12th boards with PCB/ PCMB stream to get admission in Biotechnology course. The cutoff for general category goes till 65% , apart from that it also has a hindi linguistic minority , who's cut off can go uptil 60%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose this course because I love how the theory that is studied in biology about microorganisms can be brought into life and can also play a major role in healthcare. Qualification of all the senior faculties are PhD and some of them have a masters degree we have two exams (semester exams) in one year and the difficulty is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No i havent opted for any internship this year. Projects are carried out like making models, soil testing, making wine from microbes in the laboratory. Students can apply for internships like SRFP, faculty do help students to avail that
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria- bachelors Recruiters like Biocon and Himedia visited and they made 15 offers highest package is of 25k per month which is of site co ordinator and lowest package is 10k per month as research assistant 81%' I am preparing for masters entrance exams
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For Gen and OBC the fee structure is as follows -Tuition fees-13400, development fees- 600, library fees- 800, computer practical- 1000, skill based course under NEP- 1000, project fees- 2000, examination fees- 2350, lab fees- 4550, development fees- 600, admission- 200. For SC/ST - the fees is 900 Rs per year.
Campus Life :
Reflections- conducted in the month of January Plethora of books and journals are available with a lot of comfortable space to read. Classrooms are air conditioned and has projector too. There is annual sports day, organisations like NSS, DLLE and Rotaract club also organizes its own sports day, every extra cirrucular activity is promoted like singing, rapping, dancing, literature, debate on the campus. social groups are - NSS, DLLE, Rotaract club, Literature club and Cultural club
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility available in our college but the college is pretty close to ghatkopar station so students can get the facilty of PG and can share rooms with other people under nominal charges like 5000 rs per month

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
