- I only liked the hostel life of my college.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure was so bad our grounds were very bad.
Remarks :
I choose this college because I am from Haldwani so it was near my hometown and its fess was less then the other colleges. No it was direct admission as I applied on time but u can also get seat through JEE rankings.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because it is in the most demand as of know and my school teachers also recomended me about computer science. Exams were semester and the difficulty level was normal neither too difficult nor easy.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I opted for internship but from outside the college. We were not provided any internships form the college as other colleges provide them. As per the college we had to do an internship every year.
Placement Experience :
The placements were not good only 35% students were placed which is not a good number earlier it was 80-90% but at our time of graduation it was really bad no good company was coming to our college. The average offer was 2.4 lakh per year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees was per semester wise around 80000 + 26000 for the mess and hostel. It was sometime less then 80000 some time more. in the starting years mess fees was 12000 then it increased to 16000 in 3rd year which was quite normal.
Campus Life :
The Social life is average as I was the Head of my Photo Society and member of Cultural team but the college is not as supportive for arts and sports as compared to other colleges. we only witnesed the college fest once in 4 years.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel rooms were decent for the fees and so was the food sometime we had issues with light and water but then they war resolved after sometime. mess fees was 16000 and hostel fees was 10000 for each sem.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
