- There is so much crowd in our college as our college is an open campus and outsiders also enter.
- Sometimes, hostel authorities do not cooperate and are very lazy.
Remarks :
The admission in our college is through josaa counselling after clearing jee advanced. I also filled other top IITs in the preference list but got mining in IIT BHU. Mining engineering is there in IIT Kharagpur and Dhanbad also, but varanasi is nearer to my home that's why I chose it. Also, the placement is good at IIT BHU.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum in our college is very well structured. Students are taught not only about their respective department but there are some institute core subjects also mandatory for all like engineering mathematics, engineering drawing, fundamentals of electrical engineering etc. Almost all the professors in our college are PhD holders. They have good knowledge about their fields. Some of them are very friendly and approachable. Toughness of academics is moderate. But difficulty of exams also depends on professors.
Internships Opportunities :
Students can sit in on campus internship in their pre final year. This year 399 paid internship offers were made from 87 companies. Also, 262 PPO were made from 71 companies. Some companies hiring interns were JSW, JPMC, Oracle, Intuit etc.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides placement in which the students can sit in their final year (before final semester). This year the highest package in our college is ?1.65 crore. Top recruiters visiting this year are Plutus research, Google, Sprinklr, Flipkart, JSW, Tata steel etc. Every year around 60-70% students get placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My college fees per semester is ?55000. In this the academic fees is ?40000 and mess fees is ?15000. Academic fees consists of ?33333 tuition fees, ?2250 hostel development fund, ?300 hostel seat rent, ?1200 electric and water charges. For all categories students only the tuition fees are different but rest all are same.
Campus Life :
Our campus life is good. The college organises annual cultural fest 'Kashiyatra', annual technical fest 'Technex' and annual sports fest 'Spardha' in which thousands of students participate. Kashiyatra is organised in January (this time in March), Technex is organised in March and Spardha is organised in October. Our college has a central library having lakhs of books which students can issue anytime for studying. Also there is reading hall in library. All the classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors. Almost all sports are present in our college. Also 2 gyms are there. Students Activity centre is there for indoor games and gym. There are multiple clubs in our college. All the clubs are a part of either Science and Technology council, Cultural council or Sports council.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 13 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels in our college. All the rooms of hostels have beds, study tables and chairs. Each hostel has its own mess and quality of food given in the mess is good. There are 2 sattvik messes also. Hostel registration is done every odd semester.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
