- The infrastructure of this college is one fo the best.
- The faculty is very good and very supportive towards the students and they stand by them no matter what the situation is either it is academic or not.
Dislikes
- The one thing I didn't like about thus college is its lack of placement opportunities.
- The girls and boys ratio is very high in this college.
Remarks :
I chose this college because I heard about this college from my school days and the reviews about this college online The first good aspect about this college is its beautiful location and the faculty members cooperation towards the students. The bad aspect is its less opportunities toward the technical field and the preparation for the other important exams The admission of this College can be get from the JEE mains exams and after that you have to apply for the utu counselling. I prepared for this exam from my hometown Uttarkashi with the help of online coaching physicswallah.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I had breif interest in the electronic department and the semiconductor field from the very beginning. Most of the faculties of our college have the degree of PhD from very reputed institutes around the world and many are still perusing the PhD degree from the institute in India nad around the world. The semester exams held in every six months brief time gaps every year. The difficulty level is not very much.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have done the internship from the BSNL Tehri garhwal and my role was to learn and observe the work in the broadband of the seniors there and as an intern I got to learn a lot of things. I mde a project in the field of embedded system with my university team.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is you have to score around 6 cgpa in your semester exams to sit in it. Few visited recruiters that came in our college are some renowned companies like TCS , Wipro , Bel etc . The average package of our college is 350000 rupees per annum and the highest package that a student got from the college placement is 700000 rupees per annum and the highest off campus placement is around 9700000 rupees per annum. I plan to prepare for the government exam in my engineering background only .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total tution fee of our college is around 74000 rupees per year and 37000 rupees per semester 74000 rupees is the total amount of the fee including all the tution fee, caution fee, registration fee, admission fee ad the above mentioned fees respectively. The reserved categories does not have and waived off fee in our college except for the TFW category which does not have to pay any kind of tution fee. The scholarships available for the students in our college is the NSP and the merit based scholarships.
Campus Life :
The feat that happen in our college name is Goonj which is held once in every two years and it happen in the month of June. In our library almost every book is available which you need to study either it is of your course or not There are many groups of our college such as TSR for machines and coding groups and our college also has its own band.
Hostel Facilities :
As we mentioned earlier our campus is one of the best in terms of beauty it is located in very beautiful place In Pauri Garhwal. When it comes to the food quality of the mess it is not that good and the non vegetarians does not have their dishes but there are multiple canteens in our campus where we can eat anything we want and there the food quality is quite good. It is quite affordable when it comes to the mess food as we have to pay 100 rupees per day for 3 times of food and in total we have to pay around 18000 including hostel and mess combined. Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
