As I got the admission from the management quota, the admission process was quite smooth. Every formalities was finished within an hour. Having some conversations with the seniors about the interested course during or before the admission is advised.
The realisation that the electronics engineers are much in demand in the future and my sheer interest and passion for it made me select the particular course. The faculties are very well knowledged about the topics and subjects. The course completion is on par with the schedule. Conduction and evaluation of the examinations is fair. There is a minimum 85% attendance criteria. But it can be ignored if the student has sufficient marks in the internals(monthly tests) and has submitted the assignments timely. Failing to score sufficient marks and not submitting the assignment can lead to non eligibility in the final exams.
The internships starts from 7th sem. But interested students may approach the faculty members for the internship opportunities or for project guidance. The internships offers by the faculty members won't be a paid one, but for enhancing the skills and to gain experience, it is advised to approach the teachers in 4th or 5th sem.
The placement offers as of 2022 for Dept. Of ECE was 700 odd, with an average package of about 5 to 6 LPA. As of 2024 it is reduced down to about 100 odd offers. For good placement, it is advised to maintain a minimum of 8CGPA. The top recruiter for our branch is Texas instruments with the package of 25LPA followed by synopsis 17LPA. There is a fair chance that 60 to 80% of the students gets placed.
The above mentioned fee structure is of the management quota. It basically includes all the college, accademic, tuition fees and examination fee. This was for the year 2022. As the demand for skilled electronics engineering is increasing, the fees per annum is increased as well. Costing 5.5 lakhs per annum as of 2024
The infrastructure is quite boring, every department buildings are the same design, the same paint, feels like I am in a factory. Apart from the infrastructure, there are several social and technical clubs and societies to showcase your talent and skills. The library is quite spacious, and contains numerous volumes of the books. The one thing that this college could improve is the intercollege fest. Since my engineering journey, I have only witnessed only one intercollege fest organised by our college.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
