- The campus life here is great. Full of fun and goodness
- Here the extra activities keep the children here full of fun and helps to decrease study pressure.
Dislikes
- There is nothing necessary that was not good.
- Labs need a bit of improvement and developed more with new devices.
Remarks :
There were no tests or any group discussions, there’s a merit based system admission. It has a very good name in chandigarh for studies. Dav college is one of the great college for science studies. Good teachers and good efforts by them are provided.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academics are very nice. Alot of good teachers are present for every subject. There’s maths, phy, and cs in this course as main subjects. Every subject is divided in sub subjects. Makes it easy for the students to get good results.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven’t opted for any internship . But the teachers have tries their best for the ones who have an idea for creating a good career from bachelors only and dont want to study further for further studies.
Placement Experience :
The placements and job opportunities is also very nice and the teachers make full efforts for the students to create a very good efficiency for job opportunities. Helps every student to outgrow not only in this course but in every course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
76000 is the total fees if taken as 3 years total, now examination fees per semester is almost 2700 which is an add on, otherwise there’s no spending’s except the fests money college people ask for around 200-300 rupees per year.
Campus Life :
The life here is commendable, full of happening environment. Number of fests take place in this college keeps the vibe check and also alot of extra curricular activities take place which helps the students grow.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels for girls is very very nicely build. That too in an open area. The area is maintained very neatly and the warden is aware for keeping a check on the students and the mess and everything is also very nice.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
