- I did like the faculty and college life overall it was great I want to relive that life with my college friends made great friends and memories for life
Dislikes
- The College campus is small is not enough spacious tho we have canteen to sit and chill but sometimes it was congested
Remarks :
The admission was based on merit basis. The College is great with the faculty it provides. Labs are also good . Lab faculty is also great , we can spend as much as time their in lab working for our practical. The group discussion were also great at the clubs I joined where mostly our seniors used to guide us with our overall process
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was good infact teachers are also good with what they teach and make u learn new things and help u with your future study plans. The course was for three years where I opted for biotechnology chemistry and zoology it was great to learn things on genome and Car/s technology gene editing crispr technology and many more
Internships Opportunities :
No I did not opted for any kind of internship as I wanted to pursue masters after my bachelor's degree in biotechnology from my college and doing only bachelor's is not sufficient in today's world so yeah
Placement Experience :
After completing my bachelor's I did go to pursue masters abroad but there were no placements as such and you just need to study and find out your own way out for job and hiring student struggle with this
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So u have to pay semester fees so two semesters per year and also examination fees which is around 1500 per sem to appear in the exam there was also this set rule for late fee whenever if missed they used to fine us 500 rupees for a single day so it was a bit of headache for students
Campus Life :
Life is basically based on the clubs you participate in also there are groups based on political parties and if you are from same native place or not. Socially life at dav is great you can hopin to some clubs with friends. The sports there was great as there was big ground for cricket football , court for basketball. So we use to enjoy our sports life at our colleges . The college fest was also great as there used to be social gatherings and many other things like fair for people where students use to make stuff
Hostel Facilities :
I did not opt for hostel but been there with one my hostel friends, hostel rooms were congested and mess was not so great the bathroom they used to go to were shared and room were also shared with your roomates. There was not hostel park

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
