- The college faculty is really knowledgeable and helpful
- There are many sources of traveling that are easily available.
Dislikes
- The classrooms can be improved by providing Air Conditioners and more comfortable benches.
- Sometimes classes are cancelled at last moment which is an issue for students living far away from college. It should be avoided.
Remarks :
The college have a really good reputation and is affiliated under Panjab University, Chandigarh. After completing my Graduation, I'll get a degree at name of Panjab University which is highly reputed. The addmission is on the merit basis of class 12th marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college faculty is highly qualified and very helpful in nature. All the staff members are very knowledgeable and specialized in their respective subject. The course curriculum is relavant which includes subjects of marketing, law , accounting , economics. There are mid semester tests and final exams (conducted by Panjab University). Mid semester exams are conducted after 2 months of start of semester and finals are conducted after 6 months of semester.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities provided by the college is good . Most of the students are placed through campus placements. But the students can also apply off-campus. The average package offered is 3 LPA. The companies like Amazon , Deloitte offers the jobs. The basic condition is that the students must by knowledgeable and confident enough to crack the interviews.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees of our college is ?45000. The fees increases by 5 percent every year. The college also provides the scholarships to financially unstable students for their efficient studies. An Examination fees is charged to students per semester depending upon the course opted. Merit basis scholarships are also provided.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of our college is average according to me . WiFi facility is provided to hostelers. The classrooms are neat but can be improved. The college has a decent library but it's air conditioned. Our college is popular for sports activities and many popular sportsmen are passed out from our college. Food is provided to hostelers which is average. Our college have medical facilities and also have an Ambulance always available in college. There are various Clubs runned by students such as ‘Business Management Society' runned by BBA students.
Hostel Facilities :
I've not applied for the hostel but according to the feedback of some of my friends, the hostel facilities provided are fine. WiFi is provided . Food provided in hostel is decent. Air conditioning rooms are also provided.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
