- Infrastructure is above average and worth money
- Hostel are very neat and clean and well maintained.
Dislikes
- Placement Cell is very poor and dosen't works at all.
- campus life is also very male dominating with low quality clubs
Remarks :
No, I got direct admission through JOSAA Counselling and I chose this college because of the tag of IIIT but after taking admission I came to know that it doesn't matter at all. I had no group discussions before joining.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in the study of Electronics. All faculties are highly qualified and many are pursuing Ph.D. degrees currently. There are three exams conducted... 2 cycle tests of 20 marks and one end semester of 100 marks.. this occurs per semester No fee hike and the cost is high only good background people can afford.
Internships Opportunities :
They did not support us in getting internships, we had to find the internship and give them valid proof of completion of the internship and only tech roles are allowed for internships... They dedicate the full 6th semester to the internship.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is basically above 7 GPAs for average companies. But very few companies visited the campus this year.... a Very low placement scenario in college. The TPO of the college is very lazy in this matter and doesn't respond to our queries very quickly. only 19% of students are placed this year now and now only 3 months are left. After getting the degree I am planning to teach students for IIT JEE and convince them not to take this college.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is decent but there is no social life as such but campus size is okay and infrastructure is above average and the hostels are well maintained and well facilitated but the tuition fee is very high as compared to Nit's.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
